Staff Selection Commission SSC has announced the much-needed updates for the aspirants who will be appearing for the recruitment examination of 2025 for the post of Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces CAPFs, SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau. Since the examination dates are drawing closer, the aspirants are suggested to keep an eye on the recent updates on exam dates, city details, and the newly implemented dual-purpose Admit Card.
SSC has facilitated candidates to login and check their scheduled exam dates on its official website ssc.gov.in. Candidates can login and view scheduled examination dates starting from January 26, 2025. Candidates must note that early checks of schedules are essential, so that in case any issue is noticed at the last moment it will be well in time to be resolved. For example, students whose examination will be held on 10 February 2025 can check the examination city from 1st February 2025. From 6th February 2025, they can download their Admit Card so that it is available at least a few days before to print the document.
The SSC has devised a new facility wherein it will now release the exam city details 10 days prior to the scheduled date of the examination. This will provide the candidates with adequate time for making travel and accommodation arrangements before the examination date. Candidates would have to log in to the official SSC portal to access their exam city details, which form an integral part of the examination process.
Another significant update for the 2025 exams is the introduction of a new dual-purpose Admit Card format. This revised Admit Card now contains two parts: the Candidate Copy and the Commission Copy. The Candidate Copy is for the candidates to carry with them to the exam center and keep as a reference. On the other hand, Commission Copy is intended to be preserved in the examination centre as a copy for SSC records. It would make better administrative and monitoring activities for the candidates in the course of exams.
Admit Card for the 2025 SSC GD examination shall be available to download four days prior to the concerned examination date. For instance, for the candidates appearing for the exam on February 10, 2025, the Admit Card will be available for download from February 6, 2025. Candidates must ensure that they download the Admit Card in time and print at least two copies-one for submission to the examination center and the other for their personal records. This will help ensure a smooth entry into the exam center and avoid any complications on the day of the exam.
To access SSC GD Admit Card, and the details of the examination, one will go through an easy process since they should visit the official website of SSC at ssc.gov.in then log in with the given credentials. After accessing one may view the exam schedule, the city details, and check the availability of the Admit Card for download. The Admit Card should be printed at least two copies which should be preserved in safe custody for all time reference.
The SSC has also issued very important guidelines for the candidates to follow. It is a must for the candidates to carry two copies of their Admit Card to the exam center so that no problem arises at the time of the exam. The Commission lays much emphasis on checking details in advance, as discrepancies in the date of the exam, city details, or other information might cause delays or complications. Thus, candidates should examine all the information carefully as and when it comes out. The candidates also have to ensure they download their Admit Cards during the time windows so that no last-minute complications arise.
Candidates should regularly visit the official SSC website to obtain the latest information and updates just before the exam date. New information is crucial as it might bring a change to the examination process. Candidates should strictly follow the instructions issued by the SSC through its official notice on January 8, 2025, which aims at providing the best experience possible with minimum hassles in the exam process.
The SSC will make the entire process of examination easier and less complicated, for instance, the introduction of the dual-purpose Admit Card or the advance release of the details of the cities where the examinations will take place. All these efforts help the candidate to prepare even better for the SSC GD exam 2025.
