GGSIPU holds interactive session with affiliated colleges on roadmap for Viksitbharat
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University organised an interactive session on Viksitbharat@2047 with Directors/Principals of affiliated Colleges/ Institutions of the University. India has world’s largest youth population. The session aimed at devising a students outreach strategy for participation in Viksit Bharat mission. The deliberations led to a roadmap for bringing the enrolled students onboard to contribute ideas towards steering the nation towards viksitbharat vision.
Addressing the session Prof. Anuj Vaksh, Director Viksit Bharat@2047 Cell of the University quoted that destiny of the nation is built in the classroom. He suggested that students must be sensitized upon their role in building a developed nation. Prof. A. K. Saini, Dean, USMC highlighted that the ideals of Viksitbharat may be incorporated in the curriculum to make the students active participants in this mission. Dr Deeksha Katyal, Associate Professor, USEM encouraged all Deans and Directors to share their innovative ideas on the government portal.
Ms. Sunita Shiva, University Registrar and Ms. Abha Virmani, Deputy Registrar m, Affiliations urged the representatives of affiliated colleges to encourage the students in sharing their ideas for viksit bharat on the government portal to make this initiative successful. They said that active participation of the affiliated institutions can strengthen the activities planned by the University for the mission.
Student representatives also attended and shared their ideas during the event.
