The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the list of candidates recommended for appointment to the posts of Assistant Commandants (Executive) in the Central Industrial Security Force. The list, in order of merit, was based on the result of the written part of the Central Industrial Security Force Assistant Commandants (Executive) Limited Departmental Competitive Examination held on March 13, 2022, and the interviews for Personality Test held from October 31 to November 3, 2022, and on March 27, 2023.

According to the list, the number of candidates recommended for appointment under different categories are as follows:

Appointments will be made in accordance with the examination’s existing rules and the available number of vacancies. The government has reported the number of vacancies as follows:

However, the selection/appointment of the recommended candidates will be subject to the outcome of Writ Petition (C) 5877/2022 pending before the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi.

Candidates can obtain any information/clarification regarding their examination/recruitment in person or over Telephone Numbers 011-23385271/23381125 from the UPSC’s “Facilitation Counter” near Examination Hall on working days between 1000 hrs. to 1700 hrs. The result will also be available on the Commission’s website www.upsc.gov.in.

The release of the list brings relief to the candidates who had been eagerly waiting for the announcement. It is expected that the successful candidates will soon be taking up their positions as Assistant Commandants (Executive) in the Central Industrial Security Force.
