Share

The correction entry for the Common University Entrance Test Postgraduate (CUET PG) 2025 is indicated to close soon February 12, 2025, as announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA). This is the last opportunity for candidates who require modification to make changes to their respective application forms; changes are accepted until 11.50 pm. Application form correction process is available on the official website, exams.ntaonline.in/CUET-PG. Eventually, the date of the examination will take place from March 13 to March 31, 2025.

According to the NTA notice, certain changes can be made to the application form for CUET PG 2025, but they will not entertain any request for modification once the window for making correction is closed. If candidates have to make correction with an additional fee, then they are to pay through Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.

This correction window contains modification of certain details in the application forms. Some of the fields have restrictions to be modified, while other fields are available for full change. For example, among those under limited edit category, applicants can modify one or some of the following: name of candidate, father’s name, mother’s name, or academic details. The academic details include changes in Class X, Class XII, graduation, and post-graduation details. Another important and crucial change is shifting the examination city’s preference by candidates according to their permanent and current address.

There is a list of crucial information to be modified regarding the comprehensive edit such as: date of birth, gender, category, sub-category (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities or PwBD status), test paper code. These changes are very significant since they are linked to eligibility criteria and exam logistics. There are other particulars which also cannot be changed during correction periods. These include the mobile number registered with them, email address, permanent and present addresses, as well as uploaded photograph and signature. Therefore, candidates should ensure that they correctly filled in these details during the initial application because they cannot be modified.

Further information from the NTA was given, concerning the exam schedule and the availability of the admit card, as the CUET PG 2025 exam nears. The advance city intimation will be given in the first week of March; this would aid or assist candidates in arranging for their travel and accommodation when necessary. The admit card would be released three-four days before the exam date. The candidates are suggested keep checking the official website for updates.

The CUET PG 2025 examination will be conducted with Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode and will be conducted in English and Hindi, except for certain tests including some language-based, M.Tech/Higher Sciences, and Acharya papers as test. The test duration is 90 minutes, within which candidates need to answer 75 questions. The exam has been constructed to test the candidates’ knowledge of the subject and analytical skills; thus, it remains a necessary examination for candidates wanting admission into different universities’ postgraduate programs.

Lastly, it is an opportunity for candidates registered for the exam to peek at the application details because the door to correction would soon close. Any mismatch or minor error in the application form can prove complicated for the examination and the admission process. Some of the changes also entail an extra fee and thus, applicants must fulfill both editing and payment in the stipulated time.

This exam is an important hurdle for admission to postgraduate programs, so students are advised to keep in touch with NTA for all consecutive notifications. Keeping tabs on the official website will keep a candidate updated with the newest announcements from the NTA regarding schedules, city intimation, and admit card release. This is the last chance for correction, and it shall play a pivotal role in ensuring that all details are accurately recorded and pave the way for a smooth examination process during March.
