The Adani Group has announced an ambitious initiative to develop India’s largest skill and employment program, aligning with the ‘Make in India’ vision. In partnership with ITE Education Services (ITEES) of Singapore, the conglomerate aims to build a highly skilled talent pool to meet the growing demands of industries such as Green Energy, Manufacturing, Hi-Tech, Project Excellence, and Industrial Design.

In a historic move, the Adani family has pledged a donation of over INR 2,000 crore to establish internationally benchmarked schools of excellence focused on technical and vocational training. These schools, named the Adani Global Skills Academy, will serve as a finishing school for students from technical and vocational education backgrounds. The objective is to equip learners with industry-ready skills that meet global standards, ensuring that graduates are immediately employable. Certified students will have the opportunity to work within the Adani Group or find placements in the broader industry, depending on their area of expertise.

The program’s first phase will focus on establishing the world’s largest finishing school for technical training in Mundra, Gujarat, with a target of training over 25,000 students annually. The academy will cater to fresh graduates and diploma holders from Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) and Polytechnics, selecting candidates for an intensive bootcamp-style training experience.

The Adani Global Skills Academy aims to be the largest and most advanced technical training center in the world, offering an immersive learning environment that integrates innovation centers, AI-based simulators, and mixed reality learning modules. The facility will be fully residential, providing accommodation for both students and faculty to ensure a seamless and focused learning experience.

To deliver world-class training, Adani has partnered with ITEES Singapore, a global leader in career-oriented technical and vocational education. ITEES has played a significant role in developing Singapore’s national occupational skills certification and training standards. This collaboration will focus on designing a best-in-class curriculum, leveraging cutting-edge infrastructure, and bringing in experienced faculty with expertise in emerging industries.
