IIM Lucknow Secures 576 Offers in Successful Summer Placements

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow recently wrapped up the summer placement process for the 2024-2026 batch, a process that continued to achieve great success in securing a total of 576 job offers for the institute’s 40th batch of Post Graduate Programme (PGP) students and the 21st batch of the Post Graduate Programme in Agribusiness Management (PGP-ABM).

The stipend this placement season averaged at Rs 1.43 lakh per month and the median at Rs 1.50 lakh per month. Domestically, the highest stipend received was Rs 3.95 lakh per month, while international offers went up to Rs 1.75 lakh per month. The cohort comprises 234 young graduates and 342 students with significant prior work experience; it very aptly represents the mix of fresh talent and seasoned professionals. The mix helped in achieving placement of students across a wide assortment of sectors such as Consulting, Finance, General Management, Product Management, Sales & Marketing, Operations & Retail and E-Commerce.

IIM Lucknow’s placement process witnessed a range of new recruiters during the year. Its diversity included opportunities, with notable first-time recruiters this year being Arcesium, Barclays, Bank of New York Mellon, eBay, Essar, GMR Group, Navneet, NIIF, Paytm Money, PepsiCo Agro, Saint Gobain, Sprinklr, Tata Consumer Products, Tesco, and Virtusa. Opportunities in both domestic and international positions further complemented the placement experience.

For the 2024-2026 batch, placements comprised of some of the most prestigious legacy recruiters restoring their trust in the talent pool available at IIM Lucknow. Accenture, Aditya Birla Group, Adobe, Alvarez & Marsal, Amazon, American Express, Bain & Company, Boston Consulting Group, Citi Group, Deloitte, EY, Goldman Sachs, Hindustan Unilever (HUL), McKinsey & Company, Procter & Gamble, PwC, and Tata Administrative Services actively participated in recruitment.

IIM Lucknow went for a hybrid placement model this year, which was flexible and convenient for the students as well as recruiters. The possibility of doing online or offline interviews ensured that the whole process of placement was very inclusive and accessible to various needs and preferences.
