The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has officially begun the enrollment process for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2025 counselling. The enrollment link for Round 1 has been activated on the sanctioned website, mcc.nic.in. This marks the morning of the admission process for postgraduate medical and dental courses across India under the All India Quota (AIQ) and Deemed and Central Universities. The counseling process will allocate seats to thousands of campaigners who qualified in the NEET PG 2025 examination conducted before by the National Board of Examinations (NBE). This time’s NEET PG counseling holds special significance as it follows the Supreme Court’s recent hail regarding seat allocation timelines and the translucency of the process. Campaigners need to register on the sanctioned MCC website using a valid dispatch ID and phone number, fill in their particular and educational details, upload needed documents, and pay the enrollment figure. After successful enrollment, campaigners will be suitable to fill in their preferred sodalities and specializations. The seat allotment will be grounded on NEET PG species, preferences filled by the campaigners, and the vacuity of seats in separate institutions. The first round of comforting will include enrollment, choice stuffing, locking of preferences, seat allotment results, and reporting to the distributed council. Allotment of seats will be done on the basis of the merit rank attained in NEET PG 2025 and the choices locked by the seeker. Once the results of the first round are declared, campaigners will have to download their allotment letter from the MCC gate and report to the distributed council within the given time frame. They must carry original documents, including the NEET PG scorecard, admit card, MBBS degree, externship completion instrument, identity evidence, and order instruments (if applicable). The MCC has emphasized that only campaigners who have completed their one-time externship and hold provisional or endless enrollment with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or State Medical Council are eligible for admission. Any distinction in documents or eligibility at the time of reporting can lead to cancellation of the distributed seat. Following the completion of Round 1, the MCC will release a list of vacant seats for Round 2. The posterior rounds will follow analogous procedures, giving scholars more openings to secure seats in their preferred sodalities. After the conclusion of all AIQ rounds, leftover seats will be handed over to state authorities for further comforting.
