Birla Open Minds International School Marks World Book Day with Student Reading Activity

Share

Birla Open Minds International School observed World Book Day on April 23 with a reading-focused activity titled “Tales Take Turns!” across its campuses.

As part of the initiative, students exchanged storybooks with classmates to encourage reading beyond their usual choices and explore different genres and perspectives.

Teachers led classroom discussions around the books, asking students to reflect on what they read and share their understanding with peers.

The school said the exercise was aimed at strengthening reading habits while supporting comprehension, communication and critical thinking skills.

Yatharth Gautam, Director and COO of Birla Open Minds, said the initiative was designed to make reading a more interactive and shared experience for students.
