AEEE 2025 Mop-Up Counselling Begins, Round 2 Delayed

Share

The registration procedure for the mop-up round of the Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination (AEEE) 2025 Centralised Seat Allotment Process (CSAP) has begun at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. For individuals seeking admission to the renowned B.Tech programs offered at Amrita’s various locations, this last chance arrives at a critical moment. The mop-up registration began at the same time that the university declared a one-day delay in the publishing of the second seat allotment results. The findings, originally scheduled for June 16, will now be released on June 17. The delay has been blamed on logistical changes, which have made the counseling process run more efficiently and made it possible for more candidates to participate without time limits.

The admission process for the AEEE 2025 started earlier this year with the entrance exam administered in two phases. Phase I took place in February, while Phase II ran from May 7 to May 11. On May 15, the findings of Phase II were made public. Students were eligible to take part in the CSAP, which is intended to distribute seats across Amrita’s seven engineering campuses, depending on how well they did in either the AEEE or the JEE Main. Students have a higher chance of being chosen for a seat since the seat allocation is determined by the higher of the two scores—JEE Main or AEEE.

On May 12, the CSAP procedure began with students permitted to enroll by paying a non-refundable charge of ₹5,000. They were able to choose combinations of campuses and engineering specialities, listing up to 51 choices. To assist candidates in comprehending the likelihood of obtaining a seat based on their preferences and rankings, a trial allocation was held on June 2. The first formal seat allocation process occurred on June 5 after this. Students were required to pay a portion of their tuition fee, amounting to ₹1,00,000, in order to confirm their acceptance after obtaining a position. With this payment, the seat was verified, and it was possible to take part in future rounds for upgrades, if wanted.

The second round of allocation, which was initially scheduled for June 16, was delayed by one day because of the necessity to account for technical and administrative modifications as well as internal processing needs. With this minor adjustment, pupils had more time to reconsider their choices, pay their bills, and reassess their preferences. Even though the one-day delay is not significant, it has helped the institution preserve a transparent and effective procedure, particularly as the system moves into the last cleanup phase.

Students who have not yet been assigned a seat or who want to improve their prior selection may now enroll in the mop-up round, which has officially begun. Until June 26, you may still sign up for the mop-up round. Candidates who have previously received allocations and have already paid the entire tuition charge are eligible to apply for an upgrade. By June 30, those chosen in the mop-up round must complete all admission procedures and pay the remaining costs. The last mop-up round allocation results will be announced on June 28. The registration fee of ₹5,000 will be reimbursed to those who were not assigned a seat by the conclusion of the mop-up round.

Paying close attention to deadlines is one of the last steps of the CSAP. Candidates must pay the entire tuition fee and security deposit before the start of the academic year after a place has been assigned and accepted. The seat is lost and the candidate is ineligible to participate in the admissions process if payments are not made on time. It’s more important than ever since the academic year is anticipated to begin during the final week of July.

Choosing preferences is still a crucial aspect of the CSAP procedure. In the trial allocation, candidates were able to alter their preferences, but after a seat is assigned in any round, only those who are still unallocated are permitted to make more changes. This guarantees that the seat allocation process is fair and consistent.

The mop-up round is the last chance for students to enroll in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham’s renowned engineering programs. Students who have not yet secured a spot or are seeking an upgrade must move swiftly and finish their registration before June 26. With the new school year fast approaching, the institution is still dedicated to maintaining a fair and equitable admissions procedure that gives every deserving applicant a fair chance to join its community of aspiring engineers.
