The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has announced the BIS Result 2024 for the different Group A, B, and C posts. The candidates who appeared for the examination can check their results on the official website of BIS at bis.gov.in. The BIS has conducted an online test via multiple shifts held on November 19 and November 21, 2024. It has been held for Assistant Director, Assistant, Assistant Section Officer, Stenographer, Technical Assistant, Senior Technician, and Technician posts.

The exams were held over two days. A very well-planned time schedule was maintained for conducting the exams. On 19 November, the exams took place in three batches. The first batch started at 8:30 am to 10:30 am, the second one between 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm, and the third from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. The posts considered for this day were Assistant Section Officer, Junior Secretariat Assistant, Personal Assistant, Technician (Electrician/Wireman), Technician Assistant (Lab), Stenographer, and Assistant (CAD). This multi-shift pattern allowed conducting the examination well and also accommodated as many candidates as possible in the examination.

The second day for taking the examinations was on 21 November, and one shift was from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. That shift was allotted for the application to the posts of Senior Secretariat Assistant, Assistant Director (in Finance, Marketing & Consumer Affairs and Hindi), and Senior Technician. Bifurcation into shifts and days is one way of optimizing processes for conducting the examinations further and managing the wide array of posts under recruitment.
