The Odisha Board of Secondary Education (BSE) formally released the results for Class 10 examinations of the 2024-25 academic year on May 2. Out of the passed students, 240,251 were boys and had a pass percentage of 94% amongst male candidates. In contrast, 244,612 girls passed the examination and had a pass percentage of 96%. The gender-wise differential performance is also an indicator of increasing educational awareness and empowerment of female students in Odisha.

To the success story, there were a total of 3,272 schools in Odisha that had achieved a 100% pass result in the examination. What it implies is that all students in these schools cleared the Class 10 board examination. The evaluation standards needed students to get at least 33% marks in every subject as well as a minimum of 20% in the aggregate to be considered passed.
