The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon release the admit card for JEE Main 2025 Session 2. While no confirmation has yet been announced by the NTA, it is expected that the admit cards will be released by the last week of March. Applicants who will be appearing for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 Session 2 will be provided with their admit cards on the official JEE Main website when they are published.
To print the admit card, applicants are advised to click on the link at https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/. On the home page of the website, there will be a special link for downloading the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 admit card. Candidates will have to provide their login details, like their application number and password, and then click the submit tab. After logging in successfully, the admit card will appear on the screen. Aspirants should also very carefully crosscheck the details as stated on the admit card, including name, roll number, examination center, and so forth. Upon satisfactory verification of details, the candidate must download the admit card as well as print it out. A hard copy of the admit card must be kept by them for further references and be produced with them while appearing in the exam.
Besides the admit card, candidates must carry other mandatory documents to the exam date. These include a valid photo ID issued by the government, like an Aadhaar card, PAN card, or any other government-issued ID. Candidates must also carry a passport photograph that is identical to the one uploaded while applying. These documents have to be submitted for identification verification and must be shown at the center of examination.
The JEE Main 2025 Session 2 examination will be held in two shifts on the first four days. The first shift will take place from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, and the second shift will be from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. On the fifth day, the BE/BTech paper will be conducted in one shift, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. The candidates appearing for the JEE Main 2025 Architecture and Planning (BArch/BPlanning) exam will sit for it in the first shift on the final day, April 9, between 9:00 am and 12:30 pm.
It should be noted that the NTA has already issued the advanced exam city intimation notification. The notification provides the candidates with information about the locations of their respective exam centers. But the aspirants must note that this document is not compulsory on the examination day. Only the hard copy of the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 admit card, together with the photo ID issued by the government and passport-sized photograph, is needed for entry into the examination room. The city intimation notification is nothing but a guideline to prepare the candidates for the exam by ensuring they have information about the location of their centers beforehand.
The candidates need to make sure that they read all the instructions given on the official website and in the admit card carefully so that no problems crop up at the last moment during the exam. The JEE Main is a very important exam for those who wish to study engineering and architecture courses in the best colleges of the nation. It is important that the candidates make arrangements well in advance for reaching the examination center, taking into account the travel time, the location of the center, and traffic conditions so that they can reach the center well in advance of the exam commencement.
The NTA has insisted that candidates handle their admit cards with the utmost care, as a lost or damaged admit card may lead to the denial of entry into the examination hall. It is also recommended that candidates keep checking the official JEE Main website for any new updates or modifications to the exam schedule or other key announcements.
As the date of the examination is near, the candidates are also recommended to remain calm and composed. The syllabus needs to be practiced extensively and mock tests also undertaken for getting themselves accustomed to the pattern of the examination. After good preparation and adhering to all the instructions released by the NTA, the candidates can make themselves eligible to perform well in the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 and obtain admission into top-notch engineering colleges in India.
