Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has announced the provisional answer keys of the MHT CET 2025 for the PCB group. The release is an important step in the post-exam process, as students can now check their answers and estimate their scores before the official results declaration. The answer keys are available on the official website, and candidates must log in with their registered email ID and password.
In addition to the answer keys, the question papers and response sheets have also been posted online. These papers enable the candidates to compare their answers with the key and estimate their likely scores. This openness gives students a chance to analyze their performance and, at the same time, creates awareness about any discrepancies present in marking as well.
Notably, the CET Cell has given a window of opportunity to candidates to file objections against any discrepancies found by them in the provisional answer key. This service is available for the PCB group during May 19 to May 20, 2025. Candidates need to log on to the official website using application number and password or date of birth to file a grievance. Once they are logged in, they can choose the question ID that they would like to object to, provide a valid document or reference in support of their argument, and pay the relevant objection fee before submitting the form. This way, the answer evaluation system remains fair and responsible.
As of now, only the answer keys have been published for the PCB stream. The answer key for the MHT CET 2025 PCM group has not been published yet. As per the official announcement, the PCM answer key, response sheet, and question paper will be published soon. After publishing them, PCM candidates will also be able to estimate their marks and lodge an objection if required.
After the objection window gets closed and after a careful examination of the objections, the final answer key will be finalized and released by the CET Cell. The final answer key is expected to act as the basis for declaration of the result. Officials announced that the MHT CET 2025 results are going to be declared in June, very shortly after the final answer key is announced. Applicants are requested to visit the official website frequently in order to get the latest information on the PCM answer key release and result declaration.
The MHT CET 2025 was held in two broad groups: PCM and PCB. The PCM exams were conducted from April 19 to April 27, 2025, whereas the PCB exams were conducted earlier from April 9 to April 17, 2025. Furthermore, a retest was also conducted on May 5, 2025, for 24,744 candidates. The special retest was conducted after some translation mistakes were found in around 20 questions in the English version of the initial exam. The CET Cell acted quickly to be fair and gave the students who were affected another chance to give the test under proper conditions.
For those seeking to download the answer key, it is easy. They must go to the official MHT CET 2025 website at http://cetcell.mahacet.org, hit the answer key link, and then log in by roll number and date of birth. Once logged in, they can see the answer key that they can download or print for later reference. Such a facility not only assists students in estimating their performance but also makes the evaluation process more transparent and effective.
The publication of MHT CET provisional answer key is a significant step for aspiring students numbering thousands that are eagerly waiting to get into professional courses in Maharashtra. With the result out in June and the facility for objections available only for a specified time, candidates are advised to go through the provisional answer key meticulously and take appropriate action if needed.
