Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Madhya Pradesh, has released the revised schedule for the second round of counseling for the Madhya Pradesh National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) Postgraduate 2024. The update has provided a new window for eligible candidates to get into postgraduate medical courses in the state. As per the new schedule, seat allotment results for the second round of MP NEET PG counselling will be declared on January 7, 2025. After the declaration of seat allotment results, selected candidates must report to their allotted medical colleges between January 8 and January 13, 2025. Candidates will be required to undergo document verification and finalize the admission process during this period. Candidates are, therefore, advised to get all documents ready well in advance for a hassle-free procedure. These include the print of MP NEET PG application form, admit card and result of NEET PG or MDS, domicile certificate, caste certificate (in case applicable), disability certificate (in case applicable), receipt of payment, and undertaking of no. of NEET PG or MDS attempts.

The new schedule also includes seat up-gradation for those candidates who might wish to get their seats upgraded in the MOP UP round. Candidates admitted and wishing to seek up-gradation can note the same using their login facility on the counseling portal. Such requests are permissible until January 13, 2025; coinciding with the deadline set for document verification and admission.

Another critical update pertains to the online resignation and cancellation of admission. Candidates who wish to withdraw from the course or cancel their admission have the flexibility to submit their resignation or cancellation request at the college level. This process is available from January 6 to January 13, 2025, giving candidates sufficient time to make an informed decision about their academic journey.

The counselling process for MP NEET PG 2024 is carefully designed, incorporating all important steps such as seat allotment, document verification, and upgradation opportunities.
