NEET PG 2024 Round 3 Counselling Dates Announced

MCC officially releases NEET PG 2024 Round 3 Counselling Schedule for admission into MD and MS. Those who wish to enroll themselves in postgraduate medical seats can now register online by visiting the official website of MCC, https://mcc.nic.in/. Recently, the registration process of Round 3 opened up and will continue till seven days, i.e., on January 1, 2025.
Candid will find active registered login ID with a valid, presently working mobile number for conducting the registration process. Candidate will need the NEET PG 2024 Scorecard and necessary academic certificates to fill the application procedure.
First of all to filling the application, candidate requires visiting the official MCC web portal and going to its “PG Medical Counselling”. Here, they have to fill the preliminary registration using their valid email ID and mobile number. After the registration process, candidates can log in using the credentials provided to them to fill out the NEET PG 2024 counselling application form. While filling out the form, applicants have to enter all the correct academic and personal details. Before final submission, it is essential to check the details provided so that no mistakes are done.
According to the MCC guidelines, candidates are advised not to wait until the last date of registration. Early registration is recommended so that there may not be any discrepancies due to the last-minute submissions, which may cause hiccups in the application procedure. Apart from the facility of registration, the facility of choice-locking shall also be available for the choices of the institutions and courses. The window in which the choice-lock will take place is between 4 PM on January 1, 2025 to 11:55 PM of the same day.
After the registration and choice-locking phases, the seat allotment process will start. MCC has scheduled January 2 and January 3, 2025, for the processing of seat allotments. Results of the seat allotment process are likely to be declared on January 4, 2025. The students who are allotted seats will have to report to their respective institutes between January 6 to January 13, 2025, in order to complete the admission formalities.
After the reporting process is completed, the data verification for candidates joined in institutes will be undertaken. Institutes are supposed to verify details of candidates and share the data with MCC between 14th Jan to 15th January 2025.
The total rounds under the All India Quota counselling scheme of NEET PG 2024 include four rounds, namely Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, and the Stray Vacancy Round. Every round is scheduled in such a way that it provides the opportunity to the eligible candidates to secure a seat in their desired postgraduate medical programs.
Now that registrations for Round 3 are open, all medical aspirants are requested to prepare all the necessary documents and file their applications much before the deadline. The counseling process is elaborate enough to be transparent, thus giving adequate opportunities to the candidates to secure seats in the premier medical institutions in the country.
With the progressing timeline of registration, the candidates will have to be updated about the notifications and guidelines of MCC. Sticking strictly to the timeline and perfect submission of details will thus be important in helping candidates get a seat through NEET PG 2024 counseling.
