TS POLYCET 2025 Phase 1 Seat Allotment Released

Share

Today, the Telangana State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET) officially declared the Phase 1 seat allocation results for TS POLYCET Counseling 2025, a major step in the polytechnic admission process for thousands of would-be diploma students in the state. Candidates who took part in the first round of counseling may now check the status of their seat allocation on the official website, tgpolycet. nic. in, using their login credentials—i. e. their ICR form number, hall ticket number, password, and date of birth. Enrollment in diploma-level engineering and non-engineering/polytechnic programs at several government, aided, and private polytechnic colleges across Telangana starts with the Telangana State Polytechnic Common Entrance Test, also known as TS POLYCET 2025. The study was conducted earlier this year, with results made available in June. After the announcement of results, the online counseling process started with document verification, online option entry, and Phase 1 seat assignment release. More than one lakh applicants were drawn to the TS POLYCET 2025; many of them showed up for the first round of counseling. Seat allocation is based on merit rank, category, reservation rules, seat availability, and the alternatives provided by candidates during online counseling. Students with assigned seats must go to the portal, download their preliminary allocation letter, and pay the required tuition fees online to verify their acceptance. They must show the original papers and a copy of the allotment letter to the assigned institution by the cutoff date after payment of fees. The seat allocation results include the college’s name, course, and other important admission information. Candidates happy with their allotted seat can proceed to the following step of reporting. In following rounds of counseling for those dissatisfied with their assigned seat, either the college selection or the seat assigned may be adjusted. The counseling authorities have also started the payment and self-reporting link on the official website. Students should consult the portal’s instructions before proceeding. Those who fail to pay the charges or submit within the stated deadline would lose their allocation and their seat will be considered empty for the following counseling sessions. One should note that this year’s TS POLYCET counseling process is carried out entirely online. Every assignment—including reporting, seat confirmation, and certificate verification—should be handled via the official website. The board took this measure to ensure openness, lower the stress students experience while traveling, and speed up the digital admissions procedure. Shortly after Phase 1 ends, the board expects to make public the timetable for Phase 2 therapy. Second round will let applicants who were not given seats or were unable to engage in the first phase. Following a similar process, the second stage—which will involve option input, outcome disclosure, and self-reporting—will be the next one. About 60 public polytechnic colleges and over 180 private universities provide TS POLYCET admissions in engineering, non-engineering, and agricultural streams available this year. Among the most sought-after courses are the diploma programmes in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, computer engineering, and electronics and communication engineering. Among other things, the SBTET has also introduced this year support facilities and helpline numbers for grievance resolution that would help students. There is a special hotline to support applicants facing problems logging in or uploading documents during the counseling session. Simple access also allows the instructions in English and Telugu. Students are encouraged to often visit the official website for news and changes as the TS POLYCET 2025 counseling session advances through its different phases. Those who have acquired seats must ensure that their document verification and fee payment are done in a prompt manner in order to guarantee their seats. Classes for the academic year 2025–26 are expected to begin in line with the academic calendar released by the board following the probable conclusion of the admissions procedure in the following few weeks.
