JEE Main 2025 Session 1 Results Out, 14 Score Perfect 100

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the result of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 Session 1 officially. Candidates who participated in the very competitive engineering entrance examination can look up their scores on the NTA’s authorized website by logging in with their respective application number and date of birth. An NTA score of 100 has been achieved by 14 candidates in Paper 1, which is for admission into BE and BTech courses; however, no female candidate attained that stellar performance, thereby emphasizing a gender gap in the highest-performing category.

The JEE Main exam is considered the entrance examination for some of the most prestigious engineering institutes, such as the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and was held from January 22 to 30. Each day, testing was performed in two shifts: the morning shift from 9 AM to noon and the afternoon shift from 3 PM to 6 PM. The test saw all the excitement and intensity as lakhs of students came to different examination centers across the country, all vying for top ranks to secure admission into premier engineering institutions.

This year, 44 candidates have been named as state-wise toppers in the NTA scores ranging from 100 to 90.06976. Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Telangana, and Karnataka were among the states that gave rise to these top scorers. These state-wise toppers stand for the best performers from different regions, and thus exhibit the widespread talent pool aspiring for the country’s top engineering colleges.

Yet another bright spot in this year’s outcome is Shreyas Lohiya, the SC category topper from Uttar Pradesh, who secured a 100 NTA score while appearing for his Class XII board exams. His achievement stands testimony to the level of preparation and commitment that is required to excel in an examination as tough as JEE Main, especially while keeping up with school academics.

Students willing to check their result can visit the official website of NTA JEE Main, jeemain.nta.nic.in. Once on the homepage, students should proceed to the latest news section and click on the JEE Main Session 1 result score link. Entering the registration number and password/date of birth will show the scorecard on the screen. Candidates can download and print their results for future use.

The JEE Main exam is conducted for multiple sessions so that the students can, in a way, attempt to better their scores in subsequent attempts. The meritorious lot from this session will now vie for the next step, which is JEE Advanced, the next selection list for admission into IITs. Eligibility for BE/BTech admissions will then be a combined parameter of performance on the JEE Main, the JEE Advanced for IIT aspirants, as well as counseling based on rank through the Joint Seat Allocation Authority.

The official answer keys for Paper 1 are soon to be released by the NTA on its website. Candidates will get an opportunity to challenge discrepancies that they would recognize upon checking their answers. In doing so, they ensure full transparency in the process of evaluation and give an opportunity for candidates to verify their answers before confirming their final score.

The remarkable performances exhibited by numerous candidates notwithstanding, the absence of a female member in the perfect-100 club raises issues of gender representation in engineering entrance examinations. While girls steadily shine in board examinations and other areas of study, getting this gap closed at top ranks of JEE Main is a tall order. There are several initiatives for encouraging female candidates in STEM fields to provide support, including scholarships and coaching programs, so as to ensure a more balanced representation in the near future.

Hope is still lingering for students who could not come up to the expected level in this session, as another chance is provided by JEE Main 2025 second session scheduled later this year for performance enhancement. Many students make the smart decision to write the exams in both sessions, maximizing their chances of getting a better rank and thus improving admission opportunities.
