The National Testing Agency has further extended the application forms for All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2025. This would now provide the students seeking entry into classes VI and IX in Sainik Schools more time to fill in their registration process. The last date for online registration is January 23, 2025, while the last date for the payment of examination fee is January 24, 2025. Candidates are asked to visit the official website, https://aissee.nta.nic.in/, and fill in their application forms without any further delay.

The application process is simple and can be done online. Applicants need to register on the official website to generate their login credentials. Using these credentials, they can fill out the application form, upload necessary documents and photographs, and make the required payment online. Once all steps are completed, candidates should submit their application forms and retain a hard copy for future reference.

A correction window will be available from January 26 to January 28, 2025, for those who need corrections. Candidates can update specific details such as gender, date of birth, category, examination medium, and parents’ names during this period. Changes to the candidate’s name, photo, signature, contact details, and examination city will not be allowed. All entries should be reviewed carefully before final submission to avoid discrepancies.

Sainik Schools are English-medium residential institutions affiliated with the CBSE. They are known for their discipline and holistic development. The competition to get admission in these schools is highly competitive, and thus, AISSEE becomes a crucial step for aspiring students. Eligibility criteria for AISSEE 2025 differ for classes VI and IX. For admission to class VI, candidates must be between 10 and 12 years of age as of March 31, 2025. Notably, admission for girls is available only in class VI across all Sainik Schools, reflecting efforts to promote gender inclusivity. For class IX, aspirants must have completed 13 to 15 years of age as on March 31, 2025. Besides this, they should pass class VIII examination from a recognized school at the time of joining. Admission for girls at class IX is also open, but that depends on the seat availability, and for both the genders, the same age criteria will be applicable.

The registration fee for the AISSEE 2025 for General, OBC Non-Creamy Layer, Defense, and Ex-Servicemen candidates will be ₹800, while the same for SC/ST candidates would be ₹650. It implies that this system of fees provides an approach toward inclusiveness as well as easy access in this Sainik School admissions system for diverse kinds of students.

Sainik Schools are known for their strict academic environment, along with a focus on leadership and discipline, preparing students for careers in the armed forces and beyond. As the entrance examination is a significant milestone for students aspiring to join these prestigious institutions, the extension of the application deadline offers a welcome opportunity for candidates to complete their registration.

To all applicants, this is a call to quickly apply, ensuring them to meet the new deadlines and fulfilling all the requirements. By the AISSEE 2025 providing access to one of India’s most respected school systems, an expansion of these deadlines will benefit even more eager students hoping to begin their educational journey at Sainik Schools.
