NTA Opens Registration For CUET PG 2025 Exam

The National Testing Agency, NTA, has finally started accepting the applications for CUET PG 2025 starting from January 2, 2025. The much-awaited entrance exam for postgraduate admissions at central universities along with other participating institutions is scheduled between March 13 to March 31, 2025. This centrally coordinated postgraduate entrance test will be held in 312 cities across the country, in addition to the 27 international cities. Therefore, this CUET PG 2025 presents a real opportunity for the aspiring candidates to secure an admission in the competitive postgraduate programs.

The application window for CUET PG 2025 will remain open till February 1, 2025. Candidates will have a short correction window between February 3 and February 5, 2025, where they can make corrections in the application form, after the closing of the application window. Registration forms are available on the website of NTA exams at exams.nta.ac.in.

This year, CUET PG 2025 offers 157 subjects from a wide range of academic disciplines. The question paper will be bilingual in English and Hindi except for languages, M. Tech/Higher Sciences, and Acharya (except Hindu Studies, Baudha Dharshan, and Indian Knowledge System). This bilingual approach will ensure that a wider demographic of candidates can access the test.

To help the candidates accordingly, schedule their journey and examination, the NTA will issue intimation slips about the city during the first week of March 2025. The intimation slip will make it clear to the candidates about which city they will be appearing for their exams. Moreover, the admit card will be issued four days before the scheduled date of examination of each candidate so that they can confirm their center of examination and all other details.

Registration Process For registration, applicants have to do a few things. First of all, candidates have to log in to the official website of NTA and click on the CUET PG 2025 link. Candidates have to fill out the application form, upload the necessary documents, and pay the required fee after creating their account. The printout of the application form is also to be kept in hand for future use.

The application fee for the exam depends on the candidate’s category. Candidates for the General category are asking the candidates to pay for two test papers of ₹1400 or one paper of ₹700. OBC-NCL and General-EWS categories charge a little less fee at ₹1200 for two papers or ₹600 for one paper. The candidates belonging to the SC, ST, and Third Gender categories must pay ₹1100 for two papers and ₹600 for one paper. The PwBD category has the lowest fee at ₹1000 for two test papers or ₹600 for a single paper.

A comprehensive entrance test called CUET PG 2025 will simplify admission procedures and establish a centralized platform for testing with the exams taking place in as many cities across the country, including 27 international locations, thereby ensuring easier accessibility and convenience for candidates cutting across diverse geographies.

CUET PG 2025 is going to attract a large number of candidates with the introduction of bilingual examination format and wide range of subjects. The aspirants are advised to apply well in advance before the last date of registration so that no technical glitches arise at the end.
