To access their results, candidates need to visit the official website of their respective RRB region. For instance, candidates from the Chandigarh region can visit rrbcdg.gov.in and navigate to the “Result” section on the homepage. Thereafter, they may click on the link labeled as “CEN-03/2024 Result of 1st Stage CBT for JE, JE(IT), DMS, and CMA Posts.” The result has been made public in PDF mode with the roll numbers of shortlisted candidates to the next level. The candidate should download and print a hard copy of his result for record purposes.
Besides the results, RRB has also released zone-wise cut-off marks and individual scorecards. These cut-off marks are different according to the category and region of the candidates. The result PDFs have been released for all regions, viz. Ahmedabad, Ajmer, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Bilaspur, Chandigarh, Chennai, Gorakhpur, Guwahati, Jammu-Srinagar, Kolkata, Malda, Mumbai, Muzaffarpur, Patna, Ranchi, Prayagraj, Siliguri, and Thiruvananthapuram. Though, the results of Secunderabad zone are still not uploaded and would be released soon.
Applicants who desire to see their individual results and scorecards may check the same by logging on to the RRB website by their registration number and date of birth. The facility will only be available until March 20, 2025, and scorecards after that will be out of access.
RRB has also made a notification indicating that although utmost care has been taken to establish the correctness of the results, the board will have the authority to correct any errors that were made inadvertently, such as printing or typographical errors. Further, RRB has made it clear that no correspondence will be entertained from those candidates who did not qualify for CBT 1.
For those who have qualified, the subsequent stage of the recruitment process is CBT 2, which will be a key step in determining their qualification for the final recruitment rounds. The candidates who qualify in CBT 2 will be invited for document verification and a medical checkup prior to the final recruitment process being concluded.
The RRB JE recruitment test is extremely competitive as thousands of students compete for few seats. There are several stages of testing through which the students have to go to make sure that only the best candidates get selected for the technical posts of the Indian Railways.
In preparation for the coming phase of the recruitment process, the aspirants are encouraged to begin preparing for CBT 2, which is likely to be tougher compared to the initial stage. They should visit the official RRB website on a frequent basis in order to monitor any changes in the date of examination, syllabus, and other vital information.
With the announcement of the CBT 1 results, candidates who have passed the exam are well on their way to grabbing their preferred job in the Indian Railways. Candidates who failed to make it this time are also urged not to lose hope and keep preparing for the next opportunity, as the Railway Recruitment Board keeps holding similar recruitment exercises from time to time.
