SSC for Constable (GD) examination 2025. This recruitment will provide enlistment under the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, and Assam Rifles as Rifleman (GD), for the Narcotics Control Bureau as Sepoy. This examination is computer-based and will be conducted in February, over various dates, wherein admit cards are supposed to be uploaded soon at the official regional SSC websites.
The SSC GD Constable test will be conducted on February 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, and 25, 2025. Before issuing admit cards, the commission will release a city notification informing candidates about the location of their respective examination centers. After this, candidates shall have access to their admit cards that can illustrate all the information, such as the name and address of the exam center along with the date and exam timing, reporting time and many more guidelines.
The admit card can be downloaded from the official SSC website, https://ssc.gov.in. Once available, candidates must click on the link on the homepage, enter their login credentials, and download the admit card. It is always a good idea to print the admit card and carry it along on the examination day as entry without the admit card will not be allowed.
Candidates applying for SSC GD Constable must have passed Class 10’s final examination prior to January 1, 2025, and also, the applicant age must be within the range of 18-23 years of the same date. The stages involved in recruitment are Computer-Based Test (CBT). It is followed by a physical efficiency test (PET), a physical standard test (PST), and finally by medical examination with document verification.
The CBT will be the first filtration of the selection process. All candidates will face a test which will be from various topics that add up to 160 marks. The total duration of this test is kept for 60 minutes, which contains 80 questions for each candidate. Each question carries two marks. To ensure inclusivity, the examination will be conducted in English, Hindi, and 13 other regional languages, including Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
