IIT Bombay Launches Executive Diploma in AI and Data Science

IIT Bombay on Tuesday launched an Executive Post-Graduate Diploma in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science to be taken under the Centre for Machine Intelligence and Data Science. This online course would begin from January 2025 and will cover 18 months, focusing on augmenting the expertise of professionals in fast-changing fields of AI and data science.
The curriculum design with Great Learning has been carried out by keeping in mind profiles of early to mid-career professionals aiming to take their expertise higher. Applicants should be holding a recognized four-year undergraduate degree or three-year degree supported by relevant work experience of one year and above. Moreover, post-graduates and doctoral candidates with a basic foundation in Mathematics and Statistics are encouraged to apply.
The program engages all critical areas of AI, Machine Learning, and Data Science. Participants will interact with every one of these themes through the comprehensive course curriculum: core courses like Programming for Machine Learning, Statistical Foundations, Deep Learning, Generative AI, and AI-ML in Practice. Electives are also offered to ensure participants develop industry-ready skills.
The program will give students hands-on experience in the practical application using very widely-used tools and frameworks such as Python, SQL, NumPy, Pandas, Seaborn, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, Keras, Hugging Face, Docker, Kubernetes, and PyTorch. Students will also have access to the academic resources of IIT Bombay, making their learning highly pleasant.
