Hearzap has completed the acquisition of Amplifon India’s hearing healthcare business, bringing around 240 hearing care points of sale, including 115 directly operated locations, into its national network.
The acquisition, announced in May 2026, takes Hearzap’s network to 420 centres across India, supported by more than 1,000 service providers. The company aims to expand the network to 500 centres by 2027.
The combined network is expected to improve access to hearing care in metropolitan as well as Tier II and Tier III cities. Hearzap said the integration will also strengthen its clinical capabilities by bringing Amplifon India’s experienced clinical teams and operational expertise into the organisation.
Raja S., Managing Director, Hearzap, said the acquisition would help the company combine its growing network with Amplifon’s clinical expertise and international practices. He said the company would focus on expanding access to hearing care, improving clinical quality and providing personalised services.
Hearzap plans to undertake a phased integration of Amplifon India’s operations over the next 12 months. The company said existing Amplifon India employees would continue to be part of the organisation to ensure continuity of services for clients.
The combined business is expected to generate more than Rs. 230 crore in revenue following integration. Hearzap is targeting revenue of around Rs. 250 crore by the end of the current financial year and nearly Rs. 500 crore by FY2029.
As part of its expansion plans, the company will invest in new hearing care centres, underserved markets, AI-enabled diagnostics, tele-audiology and rehabilitation services. It also plans to strengthen training and clinical capabilities and expand collaborations with healthcare institutions, insurers and community health programmes.
The acquisition is expected to strengthen Hearzap’s position in India’s organised hearing healthcare market, where demand is being driven by increasing awareness, longer life expectancy and greater exposure to occupational and environmental noise.
