The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has introduced a new certificate program in Generative AI for professionals looking to enhance their expertise in advanced AI techniques. This six-month, online program will explore in-depth cutting-edge topics such as Large Language Models (LLMs), Reinforcement Learning with Human Feedback (RLHF), and Vision-Language Models (VLMs). It’s a curriculum that gives both foundational knowledge and hands-on experience, making it an ideal learning opportunity for working professionals in the AI/ML space.

The course begins with essential concepts such as Linear Algebra and moves to more advanced topics such as Machine Learning and model optimization. Participants will become adept at fine-tuning models and using Parameter-Efficient Fine-Tuning (PEFT) methods to optimize AI models. Throughout the program, students will have access to practical tutorials, state-of-the-art AI tools, and live sessions led by IIT Delhi faculty and industry experts. At the end of the programme, students are also tested with an MCQ-based end-exam, along with performance evaluation through assignments, projects, and attendance.

Applicants with prior experience in coding or programming are preferred; however, the program is open to all graduates or postgraduates in science, technology, engineering, or mathematical sciences.
