SBI Announces 600 PO Vacancies for 2024, Apply Now

The official notice for Probationary Officers (PO) of State Bank of India for the year 2024 is now released and the drive for the current recruitment aims at filling a total of 600 posts where 586 regular and 14 are backlog posts. It will open vast opportunities for many who desire to get their careers initiated in the banking industry.
Application Procedure
Online application opens December 27, 2024. Application will remain active up to January 16, 2025. All Eligible Candidates are requested to fill in the application form along with relevant documents online.
Payment will be made through an internet payment method by accepting debit cards, credit cards, or net banking; offline by paying at SBI Bank branches, after charging service charges of the concerned bank. ₹ 750/- for candidates from GEN/OBC/EWS and No Fee for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped candidates. Remittal can be done through debit card, credit card and or net banking.
Eligibility: Candidates need to possess Bachelor’s degree, which will be completed on or till then, from a recognized University in India in any degree including both Commerce and Non- Commerce, any discipline. And age 21 years – 30 years as of April1, 2024 the age relaxation as per norms of SBI recruitment norms.
The recruitment process involves three phases: Preliminary Examination (Phase 1), Main Examination (Phase 2), and Phase 3, which includes a Psychometric Test, Group Exercise, and Interview. Those candidates who qualify in the preliminary examination, which is to be held from March 8 to March 15, 2025, will be considered for the main examination that would be held in April or May 2025. Main examination qualified candidates will then undergo a final round of examination to judge their overall suitability for the position.
The applicants must note the guidelines regarding examination documents. The call letter for the preliminary exam will not be issued at the examination center but should be authenticated and stamped by staff. Candidates are advised to conserve the authenticated call letter, along with the stamped copy of their ID proof, which will be required for the main exam. In addition to the above, the following documents mentioned in the “Acquaint Yourself Booklet” and the main exam call letter must be carried to the center for the main exam.
The 586 regular posts are distributed as follows: 240 for General category candidates, 158 for OBC, 58 for EWS, 87 for SC, and 43 for ST candidates. The 14 backlog vacancies are reserved for ST candidates, and the total number of vacancies is 600.
