J&K Bank Opens 278 Apprentice Posts for Recruitment

Jammu and Kashmir Bank has opened its recruitment drive for the Apprentice posts by seeking eligible candidates to apply for 278 vacancies within the organization. The process has been started from December 24, 2024, and will remain open till January 7, 2025. Online applications can be made at jkbank.com.

To be eligible for the Apprentice posts, candidates should ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility criteria set by the bank. The most important requirement is a graduation degree from any recognized university or institute. In addition to this, the candidates should also ensure that their results are declared on or before the date of the closing of the registration process. Proficiency in the local language of the concerned region or area is also a prerequisite. Preferably, domicile from the local regions will also be an added advantage and will give priority to selection.

Candidates’ age to apply as per the job requirement stated that they have to fall in between the age limit of 20 to 28 years before January 1, 2024. The required age qualification for applicants guarantee that only the best-fitted eligible candidates with qualified skills be chosen by the bank with a good probability of reaching the required apprentice age brackets.

The selection process for the posts of Apprentices involves an online written test. There will be 100 objective-type questions and one mark will be there for every question. There will be a time span of 60 minutes during which this test will be conducted. Candidates should take proper care while answering because this examination carries negative marking. That is, if any wrong answer is provided, the marks assigned for that question will be reduced by one-fourth of the mark. This aspect of the evaluation process highlights accuracy and careful decision-making on the part of the candidates.

As part of the application process, candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application fee. Those belonging to the unreserved category will need to pay Rs 700, while candidates from reserved categories will be charged Rs 500. The fee must be paid online through the payment gateway provided on the application portal.
