Kerala SSLC Results 2025: 99.5% Pass, Kannur Tops

The Kerala Board of Public Examinations has declared the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Class X results for 2025. The SSLC results this year have yet again shown that the state’s academic performance is consistently high as it achieved a whopping overall pass percentage of 99.5%. Of the 4,27,021 students who were present for the examination, a total of 4,24,583 candidates were able to clear the exams, proving the ever-existent excellence in the secondary education of the state.
The results have been announced on 9th May, 2025, and students are now able to download their mark sheets online from the official websites. The Kerala SSLC 2025 examinations took place from 3rd March till 26th March, at 2,964 centres across Kerala. Besides that, Lakshadweep and Gulf region students also appeared for the examination, for whom nine centres were reserved in Lakshadweep and seven in the Gulf countries.
Kannur has surpassed all other districts this year to be the top performing district in the state, with outstanding academic results. Conversely, Thiruvananthapuram had the lowest pass percentage among all the districts. Yet, the academic performance of education sub-districts such as Pala and Mavelikkara brought immense pride to the state, since both attained a perfect 100% pass percentage, highlighting the academic commitment and effectiveness of the institutions in these areas.
This year’s SSLC examinations had students from all forms of schools attending. Out of the total number of candidates attending this year’s SSLC examinations, 1,42,298 candidates belonged to government schools, 2,55,092 belonged to aided schools, and 29,631 belonged to unaided private schools. The gender-wise distribution among students also indicates an even attendance for the examinations with 2,17,696 boys and 2,09,325 girls.
Students who sat for the SSLC 2025 exams can now access their results online by accessing any of the official result websites like results.kite.kerala.gov.in, keralaresults.nic.in, and more. The procedure for getting access to the results involves candidates logging in via their roll number, register number, and date of birth. For ease, the marks are also available on the DigiLocker platform as well as on the Saphalam App, and the students can choose to get their marks through SMS by sending an SMS to 56263.
After reaching the results portal, students can easily click on the ‘Kerala SSLC Result 2025’ link, log in using their credentials, and submit the same to see their marks. Students are recommended to download and get a printout of their results for future academic or admission procedures.
The Kerala board has had a minimum passing mark of 30% in every subject of the SSLC exams. Though the overall pass percentage is quite impressive, the board has also left with an option for students who might not be pleased with their results. Such students can apply for revaluation or answer sheet scrutiny. The last date for applying for revaluation is May 14, 2025, leaving students with a limited timeframe to ask for the reevaluation of their marks.
The excellent performance in Kerala SSLC 2025 exams reflects the robustness and caliber of the state’s public education system. With most students passing in a large majority and more districts and sub-districts reaching near-perfect and perfect scores, Kerala continues to reinforce its reputation for schooling excellence.
