Punjab Board Class X XII Results To Be Declared Soon

The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) is to declare the board exam results for Class X and XII for 2025 very soon. All those students who have appeared in these important examinations can wait expectantly for their results to be declared, as the results for Class XII can be expected early next month of May. But the formal declaration on the specific date is awaited. As soon as announced, the results can be accessed by students through the official PSEB portal at https://pseb.ac.in using the roll number, registration number, or application number.
This year, Class X exams took place between March 10 and April 4. Last year, the examinations were held from February 13 to March 5, with the results declared on April 18. During 2024, the board saw a superb performance by the students, where a large percentage of candidates passed the examinations. As many as 2,81,098 students had taken the Class X board exams in 2024, and 2,73,348 of them cleared them, securing a pass percentage of 97.24%. Girls again outperformed boys. Although girls secured a pass percentage of 98.11%, their counterparts registered a pass percentage of just 96.47%. Among the highest scorers was Aditi of Ludhiana, who topped the list, and Alisha Sharma of Ludhiana and Karmanpreet Kaur of Amritsar were jointly second with 99.23%.
In 2024, the results of Class XII were announced on April 30. As many as 2,84,452 students appeared for the examination, with 2,64,662 being declared passed, which took the overall pass percentage to 93.04%. For the second consecutive time, girls dominated the academic landscape with a phenomenal 95.74% pass rate. Boys, on the other hand, managed a pass percentage of 90.74%, following the trend of female students outshining their male counterparts in Punjab Board exams.
Looking back at last year, 2023, Class X results had been announced on May 26, and Class XII results had been announced slightly earlier, on May 24. That year, 2,81,327 students had appeared for the Class X examinations. Of these, 2,74,400 passed the exams, with a pass percentage of 97.54%, slightly higher than in 2024. In Class XII in 2023, 2,96,709 candidates appeared for the exam, and 2,74,378 passed, giving a pass percentage of 92.47%. Following the trend, girls again performed better than boys in 2023. The percentage of girls passing was 95.14%, whereas boys passed at a rate of 90.25%.
The uniform scholastic achievement of students from Punjab, particularly girls, has been a strong feature of PSEB board results in the last few years. The close margins of the overall pass percentages also reflect the healthy competitive nature and consistent scholastic performance in both the years. The trend is positive and points to the rising standards of education and student readiness within the state.
Students waiting for 2025 results are requested to have their login credentials ready so that they are not delayed at the last minute. To get their results, students need to go to the official PSEB website, click on the relevant link for Class X or XII results, enter their roll number and date of birth, and download the result for reference later.
