RRB JE 2024 Answer Key Released; Objection Window Open
Share
The Railway Recruitment Board has declared the Railway JE CBT answer keys on its official website and candidates who have appeared can now log into their response sheets by entering their registered number and password. Therefore, this is an essential step in the recruitment procedure as candidates will be provided with the opportunity to compare their performance with the questions and thereby calculate their estimations of marks.
This response answer key gives the correct answers for all questions asked in the examination. Comparing them with the official key enables candidates to cross-check their performance and calculate their probable marks. The CBT 1 exam for the JE and other posts were held on December 16, 17, and 18, 2024. The test lasts for 90 minutes comprises 100 multiple-choice questions, with one mark on each question.
Candidates need to visit the official RRB website, rrbcdg.gov.in, to download the answer key. Under the notifications section, a link to download the JE answer key under CEN 03/2024 is available. After clicking the link, candidates need to enter their login credentials and submit them to access the answer key. They are advised to download and print the document for future reference, as it will serve as an important tool for evaluating their performance.
The RRB has also opened an objection window for candidates who wish to challenge any answers provided in the official key. This facility allows candidates to raise concerns about discrepancies in the answers, provided they submit sufficient supporting evidence. Candidates can file objections until December 28, 2024, after paying a fee of ₹50 per question. Multiple objections can be raised within this timeframe. The RRB will subject all objections to careful consideration, and errors found there will be adjusted in the answer key accordingly.
It is through objection review processes that the process of evaluating remains transparent and fair while giving room to all who may have arisen discrepancies by clarifying. It will be important to ensure candidature provides sufficient and related documentation when objections are to be submitted as this supports their case.
For the computation of their approximate scores, candidates should be aware of the marking scheme of the examination. The correct answer carries one mark, and for every incorrect answer, 1/3 of a mark is deducted. With the use of the official answer key, candidates can calculate their approximate score by adding the marks for correct answers and subtracting the penalty for wrong answers. This enables them to estimate their chances of meeting the cutoff and proceeding to the next stage of the recruitment process.
The release of the answer key is a milestone in the RRB JE recruitment cycle as it has empowered candidates to assess their performance and plan their next steps. Since the objection window is closing on 28 December 2024, the candidates are being asked to take immediate action if they have any doubt over the answers provided by them. RRB will carefully go through the objections, thereby ensuring that the process is transparent and fair so that trust is achieved among the candidates.
