Share

State Bank of India (SBI) is ready to declare the results for the 2025 SBI Clerk exam, with aspirants eagerly waiting for the results of their preliminary tests. According to the official notifications, the results of the preliminary exam will be declared soon, and students can verify their scores on the official SBI website. In addition to the results, the cut-off marks for every state and category will be published by the bank. These marks will become a determining factor in deciding if the candidate will appear for the next phase of the recruitment process, which is the main examination.

Those candidates who clear the preliminary examination will be able to appear for the main exam, which is scheduled tentatively for April 10, 2025. The bank has already stated that call letters for the candidates who have cleared the preliminary exam will be released along with the results. The initial test, which took place in February and March of the year 2025, had a tough question paper with three principal sections: English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. The test was aimed at testing a candidate’s ability in these fields with a time constraint of an hour to finish the paper. All the sections were a part of the final score, and there was a penalty in case of wrong answers. For each wrong answer, one-fourth of the marks allotted to that question would be cut, so it was important for the candidates to answer cautiously.

The SBI Clerk recruitment process for 2025 is to fill 13,735 Junior Associate posts in the bank, and hence it is a much-awaited exam for those who want to pursue a career in one of India’s top financial institutions. The recruitment process is aimed at identifying the right persons who can handle the customer services and sales for the bank. To make the process transparent and effective, the SBI will publish the cut-off marks in each state and category after announcing the results. These cut-off marks are calculated considering several factors like the number of candidates sitting for the exam, the difficulty of the paper, and the number of vacancies.

Candidates who have sat for the exam can download their scorecards through a simple process. They must first go to the official SBI website at sbi.co.in. After reaching the homepage, they should go to the ‘Carements’ page and search for the link that states ‘Recruitment of Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) Result.’ They will be directed to the result page by clicking on this link. Candidates will have to provide their necessary details, including their registration number and date of birth, in order to view their result. Once the mandatory details are filled in, the scorecard will be visible on the screen, and the candidates can save it for future purposes. The candidates are advised to take a hard copy of their scorecard for reference and documentation purposes.

The SBI Clerk test is a crucial event for most aspirants who wish to obtain a government job at one of the largest public sector banks in India. Since the examination was conducted on multiple days during February and March, the applicants could try out the paper on different dates to provide a convenient and easy process of examination. Including sections like English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability helped check the candidate’s ability to manage basic skills needed to process customer interactions, make transactions, and resolve issues in the banking industry.

The bank has made it a point to highlight the significance of the main examination coming up, since it would be the key consideration for making the final choices among candidates for Junior Associate positions. The main examination is bound to touch on more complex areas and test the capacity of the candidates to undertake the sophisticated functions inherent in the position.

Finally, as the announcement date for the 2025 SBI Clerk preliminary exam result approaches, aspirants are recommended to remain current by frequently visiting the SBI website for any official announcements. Passing the initial exam with success will lead candidates to the second phase of the hiring process in which they will get another chance to demonstrate their talent and earn a spot as a Junior Associate at one of India’s most iconic banks. With the final exam taking place on April 10, 2025, those who pass will soon start preparing for this final step towards realizing their career goals in banking.
