Special OJEE 2025 Registration Begins June 13

Share

Students who missed the first Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) 2025 now have an important chance with the start of the registration process for the second or special OJEE on June 13, 2025. The official website ojee.nic.in features this announcement, which is posted soon after the announcement of the primary OJEE 2025 results. Candidates who wish to apply for the Special OJEE can now register online and start getting ready for the exam, which will take place on July 15 and 16, 2025.

Students looking to enroll in a variety of undergraduate and graduate professional courses at colleges in Odisha have a second opportunity via the Special OJEE. The OJEE Cell administers the test, which is mainly intended to occupy any remaining empty spots after the initial round of OJEE counseling. The exam will be conducted in computer-based test (CBT) format, and the official portal will provide a comprehensive timetable, including exam times and admit card download links, in the next few days.

The Special OJEE, sometimes called the 2nd OJEE, is aimed at applicants who were unable to take the first OJEE for reasons beyond their control, such as delays in documentation, personal matters, or unexpected events. The exam will be conducted for admission to a variety of programs, including MBA (Master of Business Administration), MCA (Master of Computer Applications), MTech (Master of Technology), MPlan (Master of Planning), MArch (Master of Architecture), and MPharma (Master of Pharmacy), as well as BTech (Bachelor of Technology), LeTech (Lateral Entry for Diploma holders), and LeTech (Lateral Entry for B.Sc graduates).

One of the main features of the Special OJEE 2025 is that it is available to applicants who did not earn a qualifying rank in the OJEE or JEE Main 2025. Candidates who have already received a rank in either of these entrance exams are already qualified to take part in the counselling procedure and are not obliged to sit the Special OJEE. For individuals who previously missed the chance but still want to vie for admission to professional courses, this test serves as an additional chance.

It is critical to understand that, although candidates from all states are allowed to take the Special OJEE, only those from Odisha are eligible to enroll in government colleges through this pathway. However, students from outside Odisha may use their Special OJEE rank to apply for and be admitted to private colleges. This clause opens up opportunities for others to seek education in the state’s private schools while also ensuring that local applicants continue to have access to state-funded education.

To make sure that precious educational chances are not squandered, the test seeks to fill the places left empty by the initial round of counseling. By allowing late applicants another opportunity for admission and increasing seat occupancy, this action by the OJEE Cell benefits both students and institutions.

The entire application procedure for Special OJEE 2025 is conducted online. Candidates must go to the official website, complete the registration form with correct personal and academic information, upload the required documents, and pay the application cost. Students will get confirmation of their successful submission and will be able to download their admit cards later in accordance with the timetable.

Results will be published after the Special OJEE is held in mid-July, and a separate counseling session will take place. Candidates who pass this test will be invited to take part in the counseling procedure according to their category and rank. Seat allocation will be done based on availability and merit, and they will need to choose their favorite colleges and courses accordingly.

For many years, the Special OJEE has been a vital component of the Odisha higher education system, guaranteeing that qualified applicants who may have missed previous deadlines still have a fair opportunity at receiving a quality education. By lowering the number of unfilled seats and improving the admissions procedure with an extra degree of inclusivity, it also aids institutional efficiency.

Students are encouraged to check the official website regularly for updates on exam center announcements, admit card releases, and counseling directions as the registration period is now live. Given that competition is expected to remain high even in this second phase, candidates should start their preparation with undivided attention.

The OJEE Cell maintains its dedication to inclusive and accessible education by offering this vital second chance for hopeful students to gain entry into professional courses and develop a bright academic future as the Special OJEE 2025 gets underway.
