The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka has officially extended the deadline for Undergraduate Entrance Test 2025 registration. Students who want to appear for the exam can apply now. Candidates can now complete their application by March 20, 2025. Aspiring candidates need to visit the official website of COMEDK and fill in the registration form before the deadline.

The registration fee for UGET 2025 is ₹1,950, and candidates can make the payment using debit cards, credit cards, or net banking. Once the registration process is complete, applicants will have an opportunity to make necessary corrections to their submitted details. The correction window will be open from April 11 to April 14, allowing candidates to edit their uploaded photographs, signatures, category details, and academic information. However, changes in crucial details such as name, email ID, mobile number, or exam city preference will not be accepted.

According to the latest schedule, the UGET 2025 examination will be held on May 10. Exam admit cards will be issued on April 30. Thus, candidates have sufficient time to prepare and review their application details before appearing for the test. The eligibility criteria for UGET 2025 demand that the candidate must have passed Class XII PUC or any equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 45 percent marks. This ensures that only students with a foundational understanding of the required subjects can compete for admissions into various undergraduate courses.

The UGET 2025 exam pattern is designed to assess the student’s proficiency in core subjects. The test will be a three-hour test comprising 180 multiple-choice questions. The questions will be evenly distributed among the three key subjects: Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. There is a variation in the format of the test according to whether a candidate applies for an engineering or a medical program. The marking scheme is very simple and is based on giving one mark for every correct answer. The exam is designed with no negative marking in case the answers are incorrect. This provides candidates with an opportunity to answer all questions without a fear of losing marks due to wrong responses. However, the principle of least negative responses would be considered to break any ties in case scores are leveled.

Now, let’s know how candidates can complete their registration process for this exam:. They need to visit the official COMEDK website at comedk.org and navigate to the homepage, where they will find the registration link for UGET 2025. After clicking on the link, they will be required to enter their login credentials and fill out the registration form with accurate personal and academic details. Once the form is completed, candidates must upload the necessary documents, such as photographs and signatures, and proceed to pay the application fee. Finally, after submitting the form successfully, applicants are advised to download and print a copy of the confirmation page for future reference.

The UGET 2025 serves as a crucial gateway for students seeking admission into various undergraduate courses in Karnataka’s top medical, engineering, and dental colleges. The extension of the registration deadline provides students with a valuable opportunity to ensure they have completed all formalities accurately. Candidates are encouraged to take advantage of the correction window if required and to start preparing for the exam well in advance. With the test date approaching, aspirants must focus on strengthening their conceptual understanding in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics to perform well and secure admission into their preferred institutions.
