Share

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has formally declared the results of the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) 2025, creating a wave of expectation and excitement among thousands of students in the state. Conducted on March 23 this year, the state-level test is a key examination for students to gain admission into different engineering and pharmacy courses in Gujarat.

A total number of 1,37,799 candidates had enrolled for the exam of GUJCET 2025. Out of them, 75,558 were boys and 62,241 girls who took the test. The exam, a doorway to some of the most popular undergraduate courses in the state of Gujarat, saw participation from students who wish to establish their professional career in technical and pharmaceutical sectors. Since the results have gone live now, the students can access their marks by logging in on the official website of the board at gseb.org or the admission portal gujacpc.admissions.nic.in.

The procedure to view the result is simple. The students need to have their admit cards handy, as the seat number printed on it is needed to view the result online. After they reach the official web page, they have to click on the ‘GUJCET Result 2025’ link, provide their seat number, and submit. After successful login, the mark sheet will be shown on the screen, which students can save and download for future use. The counselling procedure will start shortly through the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), and candidates are requested to remain informed on the official website for complete schedules and guidelines.

Apart from the GUJCET results, the GSEB also announced the Class XII Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination results today. The HSC board exams were held from February 27 to March 13, 2025, and for more than one stream, such as Science, Commerce, Arts, and Sanskrit Madhyam. The students who sat for the HSC board examinations can view their results through the same official website.

Students must go to the gseb.org homepage, tap on the concerned HSC result link, provide their seat number along with any other details required, and submit the form. The result will appear on the screen. It is recommended that students download and take a print of their mark sheet for record purposes and future academic procedures.

Although the online declaration of results provides instant access for students, the GSEB has assured that the process of issuing physical mark sheets, certificates, and School Registers (SR) will be conducted through individual schools. The post-examination process will be communicated to institutions in a comprehensive circular shortly. This will encompass instructions to schools on how to distribute and give the official documents to students systematically.

The release of GUJCET and HSC results on the same day is a red letter day for Gujarat’s student fraternity. The release of results does not only mirror the academic merit of the students but also shapes the future path of their higher education. Since the results are now available online, students as well as their parents are encouraged to keep monitoring the official releases on a daily basis and initiate preparations for counselling sessions and formalities of admissions.

As Gujarat’s education system continues to focus on streamlined access to professional education opportunities, the GUJCET and HSC results provide a crucial stepping stone for thousands of students hoping to make their mark in professional fields.
