Soon on its official website, iiseradmission. in, the Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) will publish the results of the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2025. Candidates who took the entrance exam have been excitedly awaiting the release of their rank cards, which will include the overall scores as well as category-specific rankings. Furthermore expected to be made public at or right before the results are finished is the last answer key. The IISER IAT 2025 was held at different locations across India on May 25. For applicants to the five-year BS-MS dual degree program provided by seven IISERs throughout the country—including those situated in Pune, Mohali, Bhopal, Berhampur, Kolkata, Thiruvananthapuram, and Tirupati—the test serves as a crucial entrance. Once the review is finished, the final answer key—which will be the basis of the last results—will be released. The last answer key is not open to further changes. Candidates may get their IAT 2025 scorecards on the official website after the results are published by signing in using their registered email address and password. The scorecard will include important information like the applicant’s name, application number, roll number, subject-specific marks, total score, category rank, and All India Rank (AIR). Particularly for use during the upcoming counseling and admissions process, candidates are advised to download and keep a copy of the scorecard for their own records. The IISER IAT is well known for its rigorous testing method that evaluates students’ grasp of subjects like physics, chemistry, mathematics, and biology. There are no negative points; the last score is derived by adding up all the correct answers. Every topic carries equal weight. The institute management establishes category-specific cut-off marks and overall scores earned to generate the ultimate merit list. After the results are released, IISER will also provide the list of highest scorers and institute-wise cut-off marks for several categories including General, EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, and PwD. Knowing this will help candidates assess their odds of acceptance at several IISER sites. The opening and closing ranks for each IISER will vary depending on the number of seats left and the preferences provided by candidates during the counseling process. After publication of the results, the counseling process will extend over several sessions. Only those candidates eligible for online counseling who meet the cut-off criteria for their level of ranking will be eligible. During counseling, candidates will be prompted to submit their preferences for IISERs together with supporting documents including class 10 and 12 mark sheets, category certificates, and a passport-sized picture. A temporary seat will be given according to rank, choices, and seat availability. In order for anybody given a seat to officially accept their acceptance, the seat acceptance fee must be paid within the appointed time. Not doing so might lead to the loss of the assigned seat and exclusion from further counseling sessions. Should any seats be left after the first few rounds, subsequent rounds of seat assignment will follow. Candidates are also urged to frequently visit the official website for information on the result declaration, the final answer key, cutoff scores, and the counseling schedule.
