The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences has declared the results of the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) June 2024 session. This is the major update for medical graduates across the world. Results that were published on July 16, 2024, can now be checked on the official websites, natboard.edu.in and nbe.edu.in. This announcement comes in after the conduction of the examination on July 6, 2024.

FMGE is conducted for the purpose of recognizing the qualification of foreign medical graduates and allowing them to practice in India. This tough screening test has been made necessary by the National Medical Commission for all medical graduates holding foreign degrees who aspire to obtain a license to practice in the country.

The results of FMGE June 2024 appeared candidates will be hosted on the official website, which includes a document detailing the roll number of the candidates and their scores along with pass/fail status. Downloadable individual scorecards with detailed marks shall be made available on the NBEMS website on or after July 24, 2024.

Candidates can check their results by following these steps:

1. Visit natboard.edu.in.
2. On the home page, click FMGE June Results PDF.
3. Select the link for the result.
4. Download your result with a Roll number or Application Id.

While for the majority, results will be awarded at once, for 78 candidates, the same has been withheld. NBEMS informed that the result of these 78 candidates were pending as further clarification was solicited from the National Medical Commission or their outcome is pending before the exam ethics committee. This step ascertains the integrity and impartiality of the examination process.

The NBEMS has issued a stern warning regarding the use of unfair means. If any candidate is found ineligible at any stage of the examination process, even at the time of declaration of the results and issue of pass certificates, his candidature shall stand canceled. Candidates found guilty of using unfair means will be dealt with strictly as per relevant provisions.

The successful candidates shall collect their pass certificates in person at a scheduled time; the exact schedule regarding issuance of a certificate will be intimated individually in due course by NBEMS. This allows each candidate to join securely and verify the credential.
