Clarissa Group, a leading luxury hospitality and premium real estate company, has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Swami Rama Himalayan University (SRHU), Dehradun, to foster deeper collaboration between academia and the hospitality industry.

This partnership aims to create a robust ecosystem that bridges the gap between theoretical learning and practical industry exposure. The MoU will focus on key areas including structured internships, campus placements, guest lectures, outbound leadership programs, research collaborations, and joint certification initiatives.

Under this collaboration, Clarissa Group will offer 3–6 months of structured industrial training to students across its premium properties, including Jim Corbett, Mukteshwar, and Goa, as well as its corporate office in Noida (Delhi NCR). The training will provide hands-on exposure across multiple hospitality functions such as Front Office, Food & Beverage Service, Kitchen Operations, Housekeeping, Sales & Marketing, Revenue Management, Digital Marketing, and Market Research.

Additionally, the partnership will enable Clarissa to conduct campus recruitment drives, offer pre-placement opportunities, and create fast-track management trainee pathways for deserving candidates, further enhancing career prospects for students.

The MoU also opens avenues for guest lectures and masterclasses by industry experts, including leadership sessions by Harshal Dilwali, Director & CEO, Clarissa Group, providing students with real-world insights and leadership perspectives.

As part of the initiative, both institutions will collaborate on outbound training and leadership development programs, incorporating experiential learning modules such as leadership simulations, psychometric assessments, and team-building exercises to nurture future-ready professionals.

Speaking on the collaboration, Harshal Dilwali, Director & CEO, Clarissa Group, said, “At Clarissa, we strongly believe that the future of hospitality lies in creating a seamless bridge between academic learning and industry realities. This partnership with SRHU is a step towards nurturing talent that is not only skilled but also industry-ready from day one. Through structured training, mentorship, and experiential learning, we aim to empower the next generation of hospitality professionals with the confidence and competence to lead.”

Commenting on the partnership, Dr, Taruma Gautam, Advisor to the president and Director of School Management, Swami Rama Himalayan University, said, “At SRHU, we are committed to providing our students with industry-aligned education that prepares them for real-world challenges. Our collaboration with Clarissa Group will significantly enhance experiential learning opportunities, enabling students to gain practical exposure, develop critical skills, and build meaningful careers in the hospitality sector. This partnership reflects our vision of integrating academic excellence with industry relevance.”

This MoU reinforces Clarissa Group’s commitment to building a sustainable talent pipeline while contributing to the growth and evolution of India’s hospitality sector through meaningful academic partnerships.
