Thapar Institute Opens Admissions for UG, PG Engineering Programmes

Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (TIET) has announced the opening of admissions for its undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate programs for the upcoming academic year 2026-27. Admissions are now open for B.E./B.Tech, M.E./M.Tech, M.Sc and MCA programs across multiple disciplines.
The programs at TIET are designed to provide students with a strong foundation in engineering principles, hands-on technical expertise, and exposure to cutting-edge research and innovation. Admissions to the B.E./B.Tech programs are open to candidates who have appeared in JEE Mains or completed Class 12 with relevant subject combinations as per program requirements. The M.E./M.Tech programs are open to graduates with a relevant undergraduate degree in engineering or technology, while the MCA program welcomes graduates with appropriate academic backgrounds in line with eligibility criteria. The selection process includes evaluation of academic merit performance, and other criteria as prescribed by the institute.
