The winning team, comprising CK Pranak and Vijay Mohan, emerged on top after a day of competition that saw 503 teams from 102 schools participate in the city-level contest.

The Bengaluru winners will now compete against teams from other cities in the semi-finals of the national competition.

The event was attended by Prof. Gopalkrishna Hegde of the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, as the chief guest. Sunil Deshpande, Regional Head, TCS Bengaluru, also attended the event.

Open to students from Classes 8 to 12, TCS InQuizitive tests participants across subjects including current affairs, business, sports, entertainment, advertising and social media. This year’s edition also placed a stronger focus on science and technology, with questions covering artificial intelligence, cloud computing, automation, biometrics and robotics.

Speaking at the event, Sunil Deshpande said the competition encourages students to think beyond textbooks and connect ideas across different subjects. He added that the Bengaluru winners displayed consistency, teamwork and quick thinking throughout the contest.

Now in its 28th year, TCS InQuizitive is held across 12 cities, including Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai. Winners from each regional round will compete in the national finale for the TCS InQuizitive National Champions 2026 title.
