NBCC Set To Execute 16 Stalled Projects Of Supertech

NBCC, a Navratna public sector undertaking has been contributing towards Nation building by executing various infrastructure projects.
NBCC through one of its initiatives has been a pioneer in successfully executing stressed assets projects like that of the erstwhile Amrapali Group. The execution of Amrapali group projects were entrusted to NBCC, which are now being completed by the company living up to the trust bestowed upon it. This was possible owing to the support, co-operation and trust of Hon’ble Supreme Court, homebuyers, various banks, Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs and other stakeholders.
NBCC through its excellent project management skills, dedicated efforts and continued support from stakeholders has completed close to 24000 units of Amrapali Projects as on date. NBCC stands committed to contribute towards the overall growth of the country by creating and executing key infrastructure projects. The company is keen to furthering government initiatives like housing for all and fulfilling the dream of owning a house by millions of citizens and achieving the target of Viksit Bharat@2047 as envisioned by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India.
In a recent development regarding certain projects of Supertech Limited, Hon’ble NCLAT vide its order dated December 12, 2024 has allowed NBCC (India) Limited’s Terms of Reference (ToR) submitted vide Interlocutory Application(IA)-6557/2024 to execute and complete 16 stalled projects of Supertech Ltd across four states: UttarPradesh(12), Uttarakhand(1), Haryana(2), and Karnataka(1) as Project Management Consultancy (PMC). Thisassignment, directed by the Hon’ble National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT), underscores NBCC’scontinued leadership in delivering critical infrastructure solutions nationwide. NBCC will undertake this responsibilityas PMC for the completion of the projects, without any financial liability.
These 16 projects encompass close to 50,000 housing units, with an estimated construction cost of ₹9,445 crore including 3% for statutory fee, charges and any other contingencies. NBCC will ensure timely completion of projects within a span of 3 years while upholding its hallmark of quality and sustainability in construction. The company has been granted 8% PMC fee, which includes 1% marketing fee, reflecting its responsibility in managing and promoting these projects effectively.
