The provisional answer key for the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2025 will have its objection window closed by the National Testing Agency (NTA) at 11 p.m. on June 20. Candidates now have their last chance to go over the responses given in the provisional key and voice any concerns they may have about discrepancies in the text.
Candidates may use the provisional answer key, which was made available on the official CUET website, as a key tool for assessing their performance prior to the announcement of the final results. It brings transparency to the evaluation process and gives students the chance to make sure their responses have been evaluated fairly. Since the calculated scores are immediately influenced by the answer key, any mistake or discrepancy in the answers can have an impact on a candidate’s chances of getting accepted. As a result, it’s imperative that every test-taker carefully review the key and, if necessary, make legitimate complaints.
Candidates must log in to the official site at cuet.samarth.ac.in using their application number and date of birth or password in order to view the preliminary answer key. After signing in, they have access to the tentative answer key, their recorded answers, and the question paper. Any inconsistencies or errors may be identified by comparing their attempted responses to the solutions listed in the key.
The NTA has established procedures for candidates to submit online complaints if they discover a discrepancy in the answer key. Although the procedure is simple, it must be carried out with care. Candidates should choose the “Raise Objection” option next to the question they want to challenge after signing into the site. In order to continue with the challenge, they must pay a non-refundable cost of ₹200 for each question. Net banking, debit cards, or credit cards may be used to make the payment. The submission for the challenge won’t be deemed complete until the charge is successfully paid and an acknowledgment slip is produced. The NTA will not consider challenges submitted without the charge or with insufficient details.
A panel of subject matter experts chosen by the NTA will evaluate all objections once they are filed. These professionals will thoroughly assess each assertion, looking at whether the objection is supported by the question material, grading system, and accurate academic sources. Changes to the final answer key will only result from valid concerns that are backed up by strong arguments and proof.
Following this evaluation process, the NTA will publish the definitive answer key for the CUET UG 2025. This last key will include all legitimate changes and will be used to compute the candidates’ scores. The updated and corrected responses will be reflected in the results, which are anticipated to be made public soon after the final key is released. The final scores will be used to assess candidates’ performance in CUET UG 2025, which will be a major factor in gaining admission to undergraduate programs offered by central and affiliated universities throughout India.
This last stage of the answer key objection procedure is essential to guaranteeing equity and correctness in the CUET UG 2025 assessment mechanism. The NTA supports transparency by providing a window for evaluation and challenge, as well as by enabling the correction of actual mistakes. Since no additional chances will be given after the objection window expires, students should be reminded not to miss the deadline.
Candidates who have not yet examined the provisional answer key should move swiftly. Timely action will ensure that any possible mistakes are corrected before the clock runs out, and that the final results accurately reflect their actual performance in the exam.
