The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) formally declared the release of the admit cards for Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) 2025. Those candidates who are registered can download their hall tickets from the official website, gujcet.gseb.org. The examination is a significant doorstopper for students from Class XII science in Gujarat to gain admissions to engineering, pharmacy, and diploma courses across the state.

GUJCET 2025 is especially formulated for students who have been divided into three groups according to the subjects they have studied. Group A includes students who have studied mathematics and physics, Group B comprises those students who have studied physics and biology, and Group AB includes students who have studied physics, mathematics, and biology. The test is a mandatory prerequisite for students hoping to join several technical and professional courses in Gujarat, as the state government has made it clear that JEE Main 2025 scores won’t be treated as an alternative for GUJCET scores. Therefore, students, even if they have given the JEE Main, are required to give the GUJCET 2025 to qualify for admission into engineering and pharmacy courses in the state.

For those students who are presently appearing for the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board’s (GSEB) Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) exams, this news is a significant development. Those seeking to study engineering, diploma, or degree pharmacy courses have to concentrate now on preparing for GUJCET, as their admission is completely based on their performance in this exam.

To download the hall ticket, the applicants must log in to the official website and locate the link that reads GUJCET 2025 Admit Card on the homepage. The applicants must log in through their registered email ID and date of birth. After validation of the details, the hall ticket can be downloaded. It is recommended that students take several photocopies of the hall ticket, since it will be necessary to bring it to the test center on the day of the test. Candidates without a valid admit card will be denied permission to enter the exam hall.

Similar to past years, GUJCET 2025 has a systematic marking scheme. To be eligible for admission, general category students need to obtain a minimum of 45 percent marks, i.e., 54 out of 120 marks. On the other hand, SC, ST, and OBC candidates need to obtain a minimum of 40 percent, i.e., 48 out of 120 marks. These minimum cutoff marks will decide the merit of the students for different courses.

Following the scrutiny, the candidates can see their ranks in the merit list on the official website. The first list will be provisional, though, and students can file objections or challenges if they notice any discrepancies. Once all the issues are resolved, the final merit list will be released, which will decide the seat allotment in engineering and pharmacy colleges in Gujarat.

While approaching the exam date, students should go through their syllabus very carefully and practice important concepts of physics, chemistry, mathematics, and biology based on their chosen group. GUJCET is a competitive examination that is extremely important for obtaining admission to professional courses, and therefore a sound preparation strategy will be essential to crack it.

For any clarification, the candidates may refer to GSHSEB’s official website or seek help from the examination authorities. As the hall tickets are now out, the students must ensure they get their admit cards printed and study hard for the upcoming exam.
