Share

Gujarat’s Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) has formally started the registration process for the GUJCET counselling 2025. This counselling is only for those candidates who want admission in Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and Bachelor of Technology (BTech) courses run by different government, government-aided, and unaided colleges of Gujarat. The registration is to be done from the official ACPC portal, and candidates need to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 350 along with filling out the application form.

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) had carried out the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET 2025) on March 23, 2025, in three different shifts. The exam contained multiple-choice questions in subjects like physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics. The timing of the exams was planned in a way that gave candidates the opportunity to take exams in their preferred subjects considering their streams, like biology for medical professionals and mathematics for engineering professionals.

The window period for registration of GUJCET counselling 2025 will be open until May 20 and all interested applicants are requested to do their registration prior to the deadline, which is 5 pm. The method of registering is quite simple, and candidates will have to input personal information like their roll number in GUJCET, application number, and education details, as well as information regarding the exam they took (GUJCET or JEE Main).

Moreover, candidates should upload supporting documents and pay the non-refundable application fee of Rs 350 online by using a debit/credit card, net banking, or UPI. The candidates need to check the provided details carefully once they complete their registration. One should also save a printed version of the form for later references, as they will be required in later processes of admissions.

According to the information provided by the ACPC, the GUJCET 2025 exam was conducted in three shifts. The physics and chemistry exams were conducted from 10 am to 12 noon in the first shift. The biology exam was conducted between 1 pm to 2 pm in the second shift. The last shift from 3 pm to 4 pm was kept for mathematics.

The examination saw good attendance, with 1,26,281 candidates showing up to write the physics and chemistry exams out of 1,29,965 enrolled students. The biology examination saw 78,482 students sit for the test out of a total of 83,037 enrolled students. The math examination saw 48,029 out of the 49,684 enrolled students attend. This high rate of participation reflects the interest and competition that exists in the GUJCET, which is important in getting admission to top colleges in Gujarat for engineering and technology programs.

The GUJCET examination is important for students who wish to get admitted to engineering courses in Gujarat, and the ACPC counselling process is a medium for seat allocation based on the scores obtained in the exam. This is the most important process for students pursuing a career in engineering, as it decides to admit them in their preferred institutes. The process of counselling at GUJCET 2025 will be through a series of steps, from document verification, seat allotment, and then additional rounds of counselling for applicants who are seat-allotted once.

The ACPC has also given specific guidelines on how the candidates can use the registration portal so that the process is smooth and available to all students. The portal enables students to monitor their application status, view the list of seats available, and access various resources for the admission process.

It is important for candidates to know all the documents needed for the registration process since incomplete applications will result in disqualification. The documents usually involve marksheets, identity proof, and any other supporting documents asked by the ACPC. It is also important for students to check their eligibility before registering so that they can avoid any problems later.

Finally, the registration for the GUJCET counselling 2025 has started, and all prospective students are urged to do so on time. The test result decides whether or not they qualify for counselling. It is the gateway for gaining admission in any of the best engineering colleges of Gujarat. One has to do all that has been prescribed carefully and within a scheduled period so as to remain at ease.
