The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) will announce the Intermediate (Class XII) examination results in the near future. According to sources, the board will make the results any day after March 26, 2025. Candidates who took the test can view the results on the official websites—results.biharboardonline.com and biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in—after the results are made official.

The BSEB will declare the results for all streams—Science, Arts, Commerce, and Vocational—at one go. Lakhs of students wait with bated breath for the declaration of their scores each year, which are instrumental in deciding their future academic and professional pursuits. The Bihar Board has the distinction of holding one of the biggest Class XII board examinations in India, with students from all over the state appearing.

As the tradition goes, BSEB is likely to organize a press conference to formally announce the results. In this conference, senior officials of the board will furnish important information like names of best performers, the pass percentage at large, registered number of students, appeared, and cleared, along with particulars of compartment examination for those candidates who were not able to qualify in some subject.

After the press conference, the direct link for result will be activated on the official websites, and students will be able to access their marks online. Students will have to log in to biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in, select the Class XII result link found on the website’s home page, provide their login credentials like roll number and date of birth, and download their mark sheets.

Glancing through the past patterns, the BSEB has traditionally released the Class XII results between the third and fourth week of March. The results were declared on March 23 last year, and in 2023, they were released on March 21. This year, close to 12.92 lakh students were eligible to sit for the Intermediate exam, held at 1,677 examination centers in Bihar. Out of these, 6,41,847 students were females, and 6,50,466 were males.

With the result announcement just on the horizon, students and their parents are anxiously awaiting the announcement to be made. The Class XII results of Bihar Board are of immense importance, as they dictate admissions to colleges and college-going careers for the students. Students who clear the exams will proceed further with their studies, while students who fail to clear the exams will have a chance to sit for the compartment exams.

While waiting for the results, students are requested to keep handy their login ID, including their roll number and registration number, so that while checking their results, they won’t face last-minute inconvenience. The students also need to avoid information from unsanctioned sources and opt only for results through the BSEB websites.
