The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially made available the admit card for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 Session 2. Registered applicants for BE/BTech (Paper 1) and BArch/BPlanning (Paper 2) exams can now download their admit cards from the official JEE website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. The exam is to take place on April 7, 8, and 9, 2025, in multiple shifts.
For the candidates taking the exam, it is crucial to verify their admit cards meticulously and ensure everything is accurate. The admit card includes important details like the name of the candidate, date of birth, gender, category, roll number, state of eligibility, application number, details of the exam paper, and information about the exam centre. Exam Dates and Timings
The JEE Main Session 2 will be administered in separate shifts over the course of three days. The examination will take place on April 7 in two shifts: morning session between 9 AM and 12 noon and the afternoon session between 3 PM and 6 PM. On April 8, only the second shift (3 PM to 6 PM) will be held. On April 9, Paper 2A and 2B exams will be conducted from 9 AM to 12 noon, and another batch of Paper 2A & 2B exams will be conducted from 9 AM to 12:30 PM.
Steps to Download the JEE Main Admit Card
Candidates will have to go to the official NTA website in order to download their admit card. After reaching there, they have to find the ‘JEE Main 2025 Admit Card’ link and click upon it. It will take them to a login window where they have to fill in their JEE application number and password. Once they click on the ‘Sign In’ option, the admit card will be displayed on the screen. Candidates have to properly check all the details mentioned in the document before downloading it. It is advisable to take multiple printouts of the admit card for future reference, as it will be required on the day of the examination.
Exam Day Guidelines and Important Instructions
Candidates have to carry a printed version of their admit card and a valid photo ID on the exam day. The downloaded admit card should have a visible QR code and barcode. It is important to adhere to all the guidelines at the exam centres to facilitate hassle-free entry and avoid any last-minute problems. Candidates are also requested to arrive at the exam centre well before time to get verification and security checks done.
Electrical gadgets like mobile phones, smartwatches, and calculators are not allowed within the exam centre. Candidates should also not bring any study materials, notebooks, or rough sheets, as all the required sheets will be arranged at the centre.
