The State Common Entrance Test Cell of Maharashtra has formally opened the correction window for the MAH CET LLB 2025 application process. From April 1, 2025, candidates who had earlier submitted their applications can now make necessary corrections to their forms. This facility is available for aspirants of both the three-year and five-year LLB courses.
The correction window would continue to remain open until 3rd April 2025, during which applicants can correct mistakes in very important details like their name, date of birth, gender, photograph, and signature. The candidates who had earlier left the application forms incomplete prior to the first deadline on 27th March can now finish the process. This entails the payment of the required amount for the registration fee of the Common Entrance Test (CET) and making the necessary assurance that their application stands valid for the upcoming exam.
To reach the correction center, the candidates have to go to the official website of MAHACET at cetcell.mahacet.org. Once they are on the homepage, they have to log in with their registered credentials, move to the section of the correction window, and make the updates as required. Once the updates are done, the candidates must submit the updated form and download the corrected form for future reference.
The MAH CET LLB is an important test for students who want to get admitted into law courses in Maharashtra. The three-year LLB course test has one paper that contains four sections: Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Logical and Analytical Reasoning, and English. The test is of a multiple-choice type and each question has four alternatives. Most importantly, negative marking is absent, allowing applicants to try out all questions with no fear of losing marks due to wrong responses. The examination is two hours long in total.
The fees for the MAH CET LLB differ with regard to the candidate’s category. Candidates from the Open Category, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates from Maharashtra, candidates from outside Maharashtra (OMS), All India candidates from any of the categories, and migrant candidates from Jammu and Kashmir have to pay ₹1,000 as the CET fee. In contrast, those applicants who come from the backward categories, viz. Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Vimukta Jati/Denotified Tribes (VJ/DT-NT), Nomadic Tribes (NT), Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Special Backward Class (SBC) from Maharashtra, will have to pay a lower fee of ₹800. However, these candidates must possess a valid caste certificate and a Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (valid up to March 2025 for certain categories) to avail of the fee concession.
With the window for correction now available, candidates are requested to thoroughly check their application details and correct the same as required before the deadline. Double-checking personal details and completing the application process in a timely manner will avoid any issues during the admission process.
The MAH CET LLB is a portal for law aspirants in Maharashtra, deciding whether they are eligible for legal studies at top institutions. Since the exam is important, candidates should make the most of this correction window to complete their applications in the right manner. Candidates who do not update their forms or complete the registration process within the specified time frame might miss the opportunity to appear for the test.
As the due date nears, the applicants should make sure they log on to the official site in good time to escape technical problems at the last moment. With the MAH CET LLB test looming near, this is a decisive step to gaining admission in the law program of their desire.
