The Rajasthan NEET PG 2024 round 3 counselling schedule has been revised, providing the candidates with a second chance to get into postgraduate medical courses. SMS Medical College, Jaipur, made the updates regarding the counselling process that coincide with the MCC extending the dates for NEET PG round 3 counselling. These changes will give the candidates essential timelines and instructions to help them register and fill choices in an easy and hassle-free manner.
According to the new revised schedule, re-registration for round 3 counseling would open on 29th January, 2025 and will end at sharp 2 pm of 30th January, 2025. All applicants are expected to enroll for the process during the mentioned time. Re-enrolment requests submitted during the aforementioned dates would be treated. All re-enrollment request forms would also need to submit a security deposit on or before 30th January 2025 up to 4 PM. This set of steps by the candidates serves as a prior eligibility criterion while applying for option filling and final seat allotments.
The re-registration process also acts as the last chance for candidates to modify or change their preferences for seat allotment, both for state counseling and MCC’s All India Quota (AIQ). Here, it is to be noted that choices made in earlier rounds will not be taken into consideration for round 3 allotments. Therefore, participants have to re-select their choices to remain in the fray. This step is taken to ensure fairness and gives candidates a new chance to get better seats or institutions in postgraduate medical programs.
The Rajasthan NEET PG counselling round 3 will provide admission to MD, MS, post-MBBS DNB, and post-MBBS diploma seats to the candidates considered eligible on the basis of the Rajasthan NEET PG state merit list. The above courses are of utmost importance for medical graduates looking to specialize in their careers further. The state government has maintained that deadlines and guidelines need to be strictly followed so that the counseling process is as transparent and efficient as possible.
The fee structure is a critical part of the process. During the registration phase, general category candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of ₹4,000. For candidates belonging to the SC, ST, or ST-STA categories with Rajasthan state residency, the fee is slightly lower at ₹3,000. These fees must be paid within the stipulated timelines to avoid disqualification. In addition, the security amount needs to be deposited by January 30, which is a mandatory requirement for the choice-filling process.
The choice-filling window will remain open until 11:55 PM on January 31, 2025. In this window, candidates can prioritize their preferences for institutions and courses. This step requires careful consideration as it directly impacts the seat allotment outcomes. Once the candidate has finalized all their choices, they need to lock them as a confirmation. If a candidate does not lock their choices in person, it will automatically get locked by the system at the closing of the deadline. Candidates should go through the choices carefully and lock them to prevent any errors or unwanted submissions.
In respect of auto-locking of choices, candidates will be able to print their application form on or after 1st February 2025. This is the final step in completing the choice-filling exercise and ensures candidates will have a record of their submissions. It is recommended that a copy of the printed application form be retained for further reference during the counseling and admission processes.
The round 3 counselling will help the candidates acquire a postgraduate medical seat available for the next academic session-2024. Candidates who got missed in other rounds or desirous to enhance their existing allotments need to make proper usage of this platform. The revamped schedule ensures ample time for everyone to complete necessary formalities given that they would adhere to set timelines and instructions.
In conclusion, the revised Rajasthan NEET PG 2024 round 3 counselling schedule emphasizes careful planning and timely action. The candidates must stay updated with the official announcements and ensure that they fulfill all the requirements within the prescribed deadlines. By doing so, they can improve their chances of securing admission to their desired postgraduate medical program and take the next step in their professional journey.
