National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the admit cards of the UGC NET December 2024 examination, which is scheduled to begin from January 3, 2025. One can now download his/her hall tickets from the official portal, ugcnet.nta.ac.in, with the application number and date of birth as the login details.
The most eagerly awaited academic examination in India, namely the UGC NET of December 2024 is going to be a CBT-based test. This series of exams is going to take place between January 3 and January 16, 2025; it encompasses a wide array of 85 subjects. New additions to this list from this year are Ayurveda Biology, an effort to include a more multifaceted area under this UGC NET structure.
Currently, admit cards have been released for candidates that will be appearing in examinations scheduled on January 3, 2025. Subsequent examination dates’ admit cards are confirmed to release in phases by the NTA. This is primarily done to ensure a smooth release process and allow candidates more preparation time.
For January 3, 2025, there are two shifts for exams. The first shift will be from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon covering subjects like Public Administration and Education. The second shift is scheduled from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm and will cover subjects like Economics, Development Studies, Econometrics, Business Economics, Museology, and Conservation. NTA has highlighted that candidates need to be extra cautious and cross-check the exam date, shift timings, and venue details on the admit card.
Downloading the admit card is a very simple process. Candidates need to log in to the official website, find the UGC NET December 2024 Admit Card link, and then log in using their credentials. After successful login, they can download and save the admit card for further use. Candidates are requested to carry a printed copy of the complete admit card, including the undertaking form, to the examination venue.
The NTA has also released crucial guidelines for the candidates. Candidates facing issues in downloading the admit card or finding errors in their details should contact the NTA helpline or raise their concerns to the support email address immediately. Besides, candidates should check their city intimation slips, which were already released for the exams scheduled on January 3 and January 6, 2025. The slips help candidates prepare their travel arrangements well in advance.
This is actually a landmark development as a new subject introduced by UGC NET – Ayurveda Biology that meets the fast-changing needs of academia and research in India. So, by adding this, UGC NET would contribute to greater integration of traditional with modern disciplines for aspirants to have a more varied opportunity.
