The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has published the IIT JAM 2025 provisional answer key. Candidates who have taken the test can now check their response sheets and lodge objections in case of any discrepancies. The answer key can be accessed on the official portal, and the applicants need to log in with enrollment number and password to view it.

Applicants who want to object to any response in the provisional key may do so by posting their objections on the official website. To post an objection, they must furnish supporting documents and pay the objection fee. The window for objections will be open until February 20, 2025. Upon considering all objections, IIT Delhi will release the final answer key, then the IIT JAM 2025 result.

The IIT JAM 2025 test was held on February 2, 2025, at 100 designated test centers throughout the country. The test was held this year as a computer-based test with seven separate test papers on various science streams. The result is to be declared on March 19, 2025. After declaration, the official scorecards of the candidates can be downloaded from March 25, 2025.

Aspirants who pass the examination and obtain marks over the cut-off marks will be eligible for the counselling procedure. In the course of the counselling sessions, selected candidates will get a chance to select their preferred master’s programs and institutions. IIT JAM is an entry point to postgraduate courses in science in the top universities and research centers of the nation, including the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), the Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs), and other premier universities and research centers.

To download the answer key, candidates need to visit the official IIT JAM 2025 website and find the answer key link on the homepage. Once redirected to the login page, they must enter their enrollment details and password. After logging in, they can view the answer key, check their responses, and download a copy for their records. Applicants are requested to carefully check their responses and match them with the provisional key before they decide whether or not to lodge any objections.

The last answer key, to be published after the objection period, will be used for the assessment of scores. According to the last key, IIT Delhi will announce the official results, and candidates may find out whether they are qualified or not. Qualified candidates will have to undergo the admission procedure, where they may apply for various IITs and other institutions providing master’s courses in science.

As the counselling procedure nears, the candidates are advised to keep themselves well-versed with all official announcements and deadlines. The IIT JAM test is an important step for candidates who wish to pursue higher studies in science and technology at few of the most recognized institutions of India.
