SSC Releases Marks For Group B & C Posts Exam

Officially, SSC has released the marks of the online examination for the various Group “B” and Group “C” posts in different ministries, departments, and organizations of the Indian Government. Those who appeared can now download their marks logging into the official website of SSC. They will be required to have their user name, that is registration number and their password, to download their score cards.
The website of Commission has announced the marks of short-listed and not shortlisted candidates. It is recommended that before the 31st December the candidate may download and print his score card. A candidate may not reach at the marks after the cut off date that has proven to be critical thus candidate should scrutinize their printed output before the cut-off date.
The SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2024 examination was conducted for filling 17,727 posts under Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ posts in various ministries and departments of the Government. Successful candidates would be taken for the Tier-II stage after declaration of the results of Tier-I. These Tier-II exams are going to take place in January 2025.
There are four parts in the 100 MCQs constituting Tier-I test: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension, totaling 25 questions in each part, aggregating to 50 marks. The marks for the test are at their highest at 200. Recruitment is highly competitive. So the overall performance in both Tier-I and Tier-II will decide candidates’ selection.
At least 17,727 candidates will be shortlisted for final appointments based on cumulative scores of both tiers. Those who cleared Tier-I would now be confronted with the advance stages of Tier-II where the knowledge of their subject areas would be probed, so also the analytical aptitudes.
