Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released the much-awaited answer key for the Combined State/Senior Subordinate Services (Preliminary) Examination 2024, which was recently held in 75 districts of the state. Candidates who had appeared for the examination can now access and download the UPPSC PCS Answer Key 2024 on the official website of the commission, uppsc.up.nic.in.

The UPPSC PCS prelims examination was conducted on December 22, 2024. As per the official records, out of the 5,76,154 candidates who applied, only 2,41,212 candidates appeared for the exam. This answer key gives a tremendous chance to the candidates to gauge their performance and also assess their probable scores even before the declaration of the final results. The results are expected to be declared in the coming weeks.

Checking on answer keys should take a candidate to the website of UPPSC, then to the homepage through which a direct link toward accessing “Answer Key” can be found highlighted. Now by clicking on that specific link, the user has the official UPPSC General Studies Paper I and II 2024 Answer Key directly. Download a copy and keep with yourself the answer key as, the documents will be available on the website only up to December 30, 2024.

According to the official notice, “The questions and answers will be available on the website until December 30, 2024. The correct answer from the options given below the question papers has been highlighted and underlined.” This is an effort towards making the examination process transparent and also helping candidates to cross-check their answers.

Answer keys of examination also marks the most crucial step wherein candidates are able to evaluate any errors in the solutions and prepare for the successive levels of selection. In the case of objections to any of the answers given in the key, candidates might be able to raise objections in case of discrepancies within the scheduled time period, as UPPSC follows standard practice.
